8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? 

그러면 이에 대한 응답으로 우리는 무엇을 말할 것인가?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

만일 하나님께서 우리를 위하신다면 누가 우리를 대항할 수 있을 것인가?

8:32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--

자신의 아들을 아끼지 않으시고 우리 모두를 위해 그(아들)를 포기하셨던 그가 

how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

어떻게 그(아들)와 함께 그가 우리에게 모든 것들을 은혜스럽게 주시지 않을 것인가?

8:33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?

누가 하나님께서 택하신 자들을 대항하여 고발할 것인가? 

 It is God who justifies. 의롭다고 하시는 분은 하나님이시다.

8:34 Who is he that condemns? 정죄하는 그는 누구인가?

Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

죽으셨다가 다시 살아나신 그리스도 예수께서 하나님 우편에 앉으셔서 우리를 위해 중보하고 계신다.

8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? 

누가 그리스도의 사랑으로부터 우리를 분리할(떼어놀) 것인가?

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

환난이나 고난이나 박해나 기근이나 벌거벗음이나 위험이나 칼이랴?

8:36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

기록된 것처럼 "너희를 위하여 우리는 하루 종일 죽음을 직면하며, 우리는 도살되는 양처럼 간주되었다."

8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

아니, 이 모든 것들에서 우리는 우리를 사랑했던 그를 통해 정복자들보다 더 정복자들이다.

8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
8:39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

내가 확신하기는 죽음도, 생명도, 천사들도, 악마들도, 현재도, 미래도, 어떤 권세도, 높음도, 깊음도, 그 어떤 피조물도 우리를 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊어낼 수 없다.
