밤에 피는 달맞이 꽃

정 애 숙

비탈진 언덕위에

작고 예쁜 꽃이

고독의 자리에서 서성거린다

밤이 만지작거리면 피어나는 요정

윤슬 내리는 달빛에 하늘거리며

실루엣으로 날갯짓하는 노랑나비

손 닿을 수 없는 하늘에 달을 품고

잠겨진 꽃잎 사연을 밤새 풀어낸다

햇살 고운 아침

새살거리는 소리

화들짝 놀라 울음 삼키며

달빛으로 꽃잎 닫는 아련한 만남

Evening Primrose Blooming at Night

On a sloping hill,

a small and lovely flower

lingers in the place of solitude

A fairy that blooms When the

night gently touches it

swaying beneath the moonlight,

where shimmering ripples fall a yellow butterfly

fluttering its wings in silhouette

Holding the moon in the

unreachable sky it unravels,

throughout the night,

the story hidden within its closed petals

At the gentle morning sunlight,

with the sound of new life stirring

startled, it swallows its tears

and closes its petals with

moonligh-an aching,

wistful encounter.
