학개1:1-15 성전 건축 하지 마라

하나님의 일에 순조로움이란 없습니다. 신중함을 가장한 다양한 지연의 이유들이 있을 것입니다. 변하고 싶지 않고 포기하고 싶지 않고 이대로 살고 싶은 마음에서 만든 핑계들 말입니다. 하지만 하나님으로부터 나온 단 한 가지 이유 때문에 내가 만든 수백 가지 이유를 침묵시키고 순종하는 것이 믿음입니다.  한 평 두 평 한 채 두 채, 백성들이 집을 꾸밀 동안 하나님의 노숙 생활은 장기화 되었습니다. 굳이 집이 필요 없는 분이나, 집은커녕 마음이 뒷전이니 이건 아닙니다.

그러니 우리 교회는 과연 하나님이 계실 만 한가? 나는 하나님의 통치를 받고 있는가 를 적용해야지 무조건 하나님이 명했으니 건축헌금 작정하라고 바로 가는 것은 무리가 있습니다. 지금 조국교회는 천장에 비새는 곳이 없고, 오히려 교회건축을 해서 문제가 발생 되는 일이 너무 많습니다. 바라기는 제발 성전건축 좀 자제하시라. 지도자는 백성들을 배려해야 하지만 그들이 정해준 때보다 하나님의 시간표에 더 민감해야할 것입니다.
