Gwangju International Center (GIC) will hold the 12th Gwangju International Community Day on 23~24 September at Chosun University. This is an annual event to promote friendship within the international community of Gwangju. A lot of great events and awards are in store. Please come and enjoy them all!!

Every Saturday afternoon, a foreign resident gives a lecture about his/her own society, culture, history and experiences in Gwangju and lead a discussion group composed of both Gwangju citizens and foreign residents.
Speed Quiz (16:30~17:00) Guessing Korean proverbs or famous personalities, by using body language or Korean. A team has four members.

Face painting
Cavalry Battle Game: This is one of the famous game played by teen-age boys in Korea and appears on a field day as a team competition without exception. A group is divided into two team to play a mock cavalry battle in which the "knights" ride on the shoulders of the players(horses) who carry them to the battle line. The team which snatch a cap from the other knight's head or let him drop will be the winner of the game.
