인간이 어떠한 동물의 소리도 다 낼 수 있다는 것은 곧 어떠한 동물의 발성기(發聲器)의 성능도 다 가지고 있다는 이야기가 되는 것이다. 그리고 인간은 어떠한 피조물의 형(形) 선(線)의 미(美)도 다 갖추고 있기 때문에 화가는 인간의 나체(裸體)를 모델로 하여 화법을 연마하는 것이다.

인간과 식물을 놓고 보더라도 그 구조와 기능에는 차이가 있으나 모두 세포로 되어 있다는 점에서는 동일하다. 그리고 인간에게는 식물의 구조와 요소와 그의 소성이 모두 구비되어 있다. 

즉 식물의 잎은 그 모양이나 기능으로 보아 인간의 폐(肺)에 해당된다. 잎이 대기 중에서 탄산가스를 흡수하는 것같이 폐는 산소를 흡수한다. 식물의 줄기와 가지는 인간의 심장(心臟)에 해당하는 것으로서 영양소를 전체에 공급한다. 그리고 식물의 뿌리는 인간의 위장(胃腸)에 해당하는 것으로서 영양소를 섭취한다. 더 나아가 식물의 사관(篩管)과 도관(導管)의 형태와 기능은 인간의 동맥과 정맥에 해당하는 것이다.

한편 인간은 물과 흙과 공기로 창조되었기 때문에 광물질(鑛物質)의 요소도 가지고 있다. 지구도 인체 구조의 표시체로 되어 있는 것이다. 지구에는 식물로 덮인 지각(地殼)이 있고, 지층(地層) 속에는 지하천(地下泉)이 있으며, 그 밑에 암층(岩層)으로 둘러싸인 용암층(熔岩層)이 있는데, 이것은 마치 솜털로 덮인 피부가 있고, 근육 속에는 혈관이 있으며, 그 밑에 골격(骨格)과 골격으로 둘러싸인 골수(骨髓)가 있는 인체의 구성과 흡사하다.

하나님의 제3축복(第三祝福)은 만물세계에 대한 인간의 주관성 완성을 의미한다. 인간이 이 축복을 이루기 위하여는, 하나님의 형상적 실체대상인 인간과 그의 상징적 실체대상인 피조세계가 사랑과 미(美)를 주고받아 합성일체화함으로써, 하나님을 중심한 주관적인 사위기대가 이루어져야 한다(본장 제5절 Ⅱ 3 참조).

人間がいかなる動物の声でも出すことができるのは、いかなる動物の発声器の性能をも備えているということを立証するものである。また、人間はいかなる被造物の形や線の美もみな備えているので、画家は人間の裸体をモデルとして画法を研磨するのである。
 
人間と植物とを比べてみても、その構造と機能には差異があるが、しかしすべてが細胞からできている点においては同一である。それから、人間には植物の構造と要素とその素性とが、ことごとく備えられている。

すなわち、植物の葉はその容貌や機能から見て、人間の肺に該当する。葉が大気中から炭酸ガスを吸収するように、肺も酸素を吸収する。植物の幹と枝は人間の心臓に該当するもので、栄養素を全体に供給する。そして植物の根は人間の胃腸に該当するもので、栄養素を摂取する。さらにまた、植物の導管と師管の形態と機能とは、人間の動脈と静脈に該当するのである。
 
また、人間は水と土と空気で創造されたので、鉱物質の要素をももっている。地球も人体構造の表示体になっている。地球には植物に覆われた地殻があり、地層の中には地下泉があって、その下に岩層に覆われた溶岩層があるが、これは、ちょうど、産毛で覆われた皮膚があって、筋肉の中には血管があり、その下には骨格と、骨格に覆われた骨髄がある人間の構造とよく似ている。
 
神の第三祝福は、万物世界に対する人間の主管性の完成を意味する。人間が祝福を成就するためには、神の形象的実体対象である人間と、その象徴的実体対象である万物世界とが、愛と美を授け受けして合性一体化することにより、神を中心とする主管的な四位基台が完成されなければならない（本章第五節（二）③参照）。

For example, human vocal cords are so versatile that they can imitate virtually any animal sound. Because the human body contains all the beautiful curves and lines of the creation, an artist hones his skills by drawing nude models.

Although human beings and plants have different structures and functions, they are similar in that they both are composed of cells. All the elements, structures and characteristics of plants can be found in human beings. 

For example, a plant’s leaf corresponds to the human lung in appearance and function. As leaves absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the human lung absorbs oxygen. Branches and stems of plants correspond to the human circulatory system, which distributes nourishment to the entire body; the xylem and phloem correspond to human arteries and veins. The roots of a plant correspond to the human stomach and intestines, which absorb nutrients.

Human beings were fashioned from clay, water and air; consequently they contain elements of the mineral kingdom. Moreover, the earth displays a similarity to the structure of the human body : the earth’s crust is covered with plants, its underground waterways exist inside the substrata, and beneath it all lies a molten core surrounded by a rocky mantle. This resembles the structure of the human body, which has skin covered with hair, blood vessels running inside the musculature, and marrow lying deeper still within the bones.

The meaning of God’s third blessing is the perfection of a human being’s dominion over the natural world. To fulfill this blessing, the four position foundation of dominion must be established centered on God. Human beings and the natural world, which are the substantial object partners of God at the level of image and symbol respectively, must share love and beauty to become completely one (cf. Creation 5.2.3).
