Bible Reading - Romans 12:1~11

12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, 그러므로 형제들아 내가 구하노니

in view of God's mercy, 하나님의 긍휼의 관점에서 

to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--

하나님께 거룩하고 기뻐함으로 너희 몸을 산 제물로서 드리므로

this is your spiritual act of worship. 이것이 너희의 예배의 영적인 활동이다. 

12:2 Do not conform(따르다, 합치하다) any longer to the pattern of this world,

이 세상의 패턴을 더 이상 따르지 말고 

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. 

너희의 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받으라.

Then you will be able to test and approve(승인하다. 인정하다) what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

그러면 너희는 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 완벽한 뜻이 무엇인지 시험하고 확증할 수 있을 것이다. 

12:3 For by the grace given me  I say to every one of you:  내게 주어진 은혜로 너희 모두에게 말한다.

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, 너 자신을 실제보다 과대평가하지 말라.

but rather think of yourself with sober judgment(냉철한 판단으로 ), in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. 차라리 냉철한 판단으로 하나님께서 너희에게 주신 믿음의 정도에 따라 너희 자신을  생각하라.

12:4 Just as each of us has one body with many members,

우리 각자가 여러 지체를 가진 하나의 몸을 가지고 있듯이,

and these members do not all have the same function,

그리고 이 모든 구성원들이 같은 기능을 가진 것은 아니다.

12:5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

그래서 그리스도 안에서 많은 우리가 한 몸을 이루며 각 사람은 서로에게 모두 속해있다.

12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. 

우리는 우리에게 주어진 은혜에 따라 다른 은사들을 가지고 있다.

If a man's gift is prophesying, 만일 어떤 사람의 은사가 예언하는 것이라면

let him use it in proportion to his faith.그가 그의 믿음의 분량에 따라 그것을 사용하게 하라.

12:7 If it is serving, let him serve; 만일 그것이 섬김이라면 그에게 섬기게 하라. 

if it is teaching, let him teach;만일 그것이 가르치는 것이라면 그에게 가르치게 하라.

12:8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; 만일 그것이 격려하는 것이라면 그에게 격려하게 하라.

if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously;

만일 그것이 다른 사람들의 필요를 나누는 것이라면 그에게 관대하게 주게하라.

 if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; 

만일 그것이 지도력이라면 그에게 부지런히 다스리게 하라.

if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

만일 그것이 긍휼을 보여주는 것이라면, 그에게 기쁘게 그것을 하게하라.

12:9 Love must be sincere. 사랑은 신실해야만 한다.

Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 악한 것을 미워하고 선한 것에 착념하라(달라붙어라). 

12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. 

형제애 속에서 서로에게 헌신하라.

Honor one another above yourselves. 너희 자신들 위헤 서로 존중하라.

12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

결코 열심을 잃지 말고, 주님을 섬기는 데에 영적인 열정을 간직하라.
