The title of this book is 'Natural Wonder, the Great Barrier Reef.' The Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast of eastern Australia. It spreads across almost 350,000 square kilometers and contains numerous reefs and islands. It was seen by Europeans for the first time in the 1700s. Many sea animals, including coral and whales, live in this reef. Unfortunately, it is becoming vulnerable because of overfishing, oil spills, and the changing climate. However**,** researchers study changes in the ecosystem and teach people how to keep it safe. We should preserve this valuable and beautiful piece of the ocean. I want to go snorkeling there to see turtles and whales when I grow up.
