1. Citation from Cheon Seong Gyeong.
* The spirit world is divided into three stages.
< Cheon Seong Gyeong, p. 604, left, top, 3 seconds ~ 3 words. >
2. Christological examination of the spirit world (靈界) and heaven (天國).
* I. The concept of the spirit world.
In Christological terms,
regardless of whether created beings have fulfilled God's ideal of creation or not,
when humans shed their physical bodies,
the world where the human spirit resides is explained as the concept of the "spirit world."
The "spiritual world" is generally described as a "three-tiered world,"
namely:
* Heaven.
* Paradise.
* Hell.
Therefore,
the conditions determining where the disembodied spirit resides
are based on the completion of the spirit's responsibilities,
as recorded onto own spirit self in the life lived on earth,
and the spirit's own completion.
It is explained that the place where one stays in the spirit world
is self-determined.
* II. The concept of heaven.
In Christological terms,
the concept of heaven is explained as
the realm directly governed by God,
where humans who have fulfilled God's ideal of creation reside,
whether in the physical world on earth or in the spiritual world after shedding the physical body.
3. Conclusion.
The concepts of heaven (天國) and the spirit world (靈界)
are commonly confused and conflated.
The standard for the concept of heaven is whether
the created being has fulfilled God's ideal of creation and
resides within God's direct dominion (both the earthly physical world and the heavenly spirit world),
while
the standard for the concept of the spirit world is
regardless of whether the created being has fulfilled God's ideal of creation or not,
after shedding the physical body and leaving the earthly physical world,
the concept is explained as
the world where one enters and resides in the spiritual world,
divided into the three tiers of the spirit world:
heaven,
paradise, and
hell.
