Hi everyone.
I'm Fay, freshman.
My major is school of biotechnology and bioindustry.
I really appreciate your attendance.
Okay, I start my debut speech.

Do you know cirque de soleil?
Cirque du soleil means circus of the sun, in french.
Actually I just didn't like circus especially.
Because I recognized that the image of circus is undergone animals and human for their acrobatics.
But I change my thought after saw this circus.

Today, I am going to be seen 4 shows which I favorite among many shows of cirque de soleil.
First of all, Let's see two short previews for your understanding.


How's it? Can you bring your mind? It is really fantastic, isn't it?

First show is Allegria. I want to be heard to you the song.
Because, -I'll mention later- the songs and accompaniments are not only create for show but also live while they play.

Second show was my favorite one, Quidam, when I was a high school student.
The plot of show is related a young girl. She has already seen everything there is to see, and her world has lost all meaning. Her anger shatters her little world, and she finds herself in the universe of Quidam. She is joined by a joyful companion as well as another character, more mysterious, who will attempt to seduce her with the marvelous, the unsettling, and the terrifying.

I found this circus troupe's preview show during web surfing for my homework.
That time I was a high school student third grade, before one or two months korean SAT.
It  is  nothing  but  a  mere accident.
I was felt tired physically and mentally as a high school third grade student.
But after saw preview show, I was really surprised and I felt cool oasitic.
Whenever see shows, I feel refreshed as well as thrill.

There are few people who know cirque de soleil in Korea.
It is not public in korea even so except seeing show as a special edition in ebs or channal Q , or finding as web surfing like me.  

Cirque du Soleil began with a very simple dream in baie-saint-paul quaback canada 1982.
Ralybere who made this circus recruiting road clowns wanted to make different circus contents.
He thought that show's form which is only a series of acrobatic just like other circus troupes stands no chance.
So he made his circus as if make one movie.  And he used not animals, but human body and fantastic music.

The most effect from this way is continued show if they were trained actor in advance.
In other wards, the system replaces small circus troupe centering around personal ability with big circus factory.
Therefore cirque de soleil has become a entertainment group which gives spectators through out the world pleasure,
on the other, which sale is hundred billions won.

Cirque de soleil is a international corporation.
Likewise the inside of cirque is international.
It receives applications who has capability. And it is made up world citizons of 40 nations.
Besides it endeavors to join international olympic gymnasts.
In fact, it includes 17 former olympic medalists.
Moreover they tried not only to get good show contents and good person but also to expand connection marketing.
They has sold spectators clothes, like hat, t-shirt, books  dvds and ect to carve a seal and offer memory within their fan's reach.
Therefore they can build themselves up a international company since only the 20th foundation.

Cirque du soleil's shows are Alegria, Dralion, La Nouba, Mystere, O, Quidam, Saltimbanco, Varekai, etc.
I like all shows, but my favorite thing is quidam, before I showed you secondly.

Oh, all titles of shows is created by cirque.
For example, Quidam means a nameless passerby in latin.
And Varekai designates a created world which is deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world, world where something else is possible.

We can know, here, the cirque's marketing.
In case of alegria, it means joy in spanish.
We can feel more mysterious and exotic than just joy.


I can find many things during I am interested cirque de soleil.
I analyze success and power of charisma of the shows by myself.

Firstly, it is human circus.
It enters the stage not animal but only human.
I said before, it needs no feeling tough and unreasonable training about animals or human for spectators.
It leads to great interest without rejection mind symptoms that feeling sublimate traditional circus into artistic grade.  
Besides, it gives spectators more suspended thrill.
Because they perform risk scene such as shooting for special effects in movie without using even one string.

Secondly, it has story and plot.
I refered you guys to explain which is related to it several times as was stated before.

Thirdly, it has high class quality.
They are sensitive about all things which are ways of makeup, clothes, music.
Background music and singing are all live.
Also they have each producers, staff members, musicians and etc every show.
Of course story is important, but they care all things like that,
so we can take an impression of as if seeing one ballet or musical,
and it gives us more fullness feeling than traditional simple circus.

Actually I just watched the shows whenever I felt gloomy and heavy.
So my mother asked me not to show it, but to take a nap.
But I prefered to show it, and I believed showing the show is better my mind than taking a nap.

So I enjoyed replying,
if I don't enter university, I'll enroll in the circus troupe
and I'll do any miscellaneous affairs.

I loved it like that. I love it.. And I'll love it unchangeably.

Lastly, you can show two shows.
First show's name is La Nouva, which is my younger brother's favorite show.
Second show is Varekai which is my younger sister's favorite one.

Nothing to say about it, I really love to see the two shows.

And... actor Anton who casted the main character angel Icarus in second show, Varekai, is real handsome boy.

I want to tell you guys the plots of shows and other things,
but I think almost times up.
