One day, Ginny Okada, Linda Potter, and Linda's sister called Gail, were sorting out old clothes in the Potters' attic. Gail giggled, because she saw a man wear a skirt. However, Linda said, in Scotland men wear skirts called kilts, and in Rome they wore skirts called togas. Next, Linda asked, what's an obi? Ginny told her that an obi is a belt with a kind of enormous bow in the back. Also, a long time ago Americans used animal claws and teeth for decoration.
Then they talked about the things which are used to make clothes. For example, leather, linen, cotton, wool, paper, and plastic! Ginny thinks that silk is the prettiest. She said, "let's go over to my house, hopefully my mum doesn't have any silkworms around". In the end they all laughed as they skipped downstairs to put on their coats.
I want to see and wear many old clothes!!!!
