<img src="https://t1.daumcdn.net/cfile/cafe/1152B30A499A6162E7" border="0" hspace="1" vspace="1" class="tx-daum-image" style="CLEAR: none; FLOAT: none" actualwidth="400" width="400" /> The Seven Realities 진정한 7가지 by Meher Baba  메허 바바   1 The only Real Existence is that of the One and only GOD who is the Self in every (finite) self. 진정한 실체란 오로지 '신성한 하나' 이며, 모든 유한한 자아 속에 존재하는 '참된 나' 인 신(神)이라 부르는 그것이다.   2 The only Real Love is the love for this Infinity (GOD), which arouses an intense longing to see, know and become one with its Truth (GOD). 진정한 사랑이란 오로지 무한(神)을 향한 사랑이며, 무한(神)을 보고 싶어하고 알고싶어하는 강렬한 소망으로 그 속의 참된 진리(神)와 하나가 되려는 갈망이다.      3 The only Real Sacrifice is that in which, in pursuance of this love, all things, body, mind , position , welfare , and even life itself, are sacrificed. 진정한 희생이란 오로지 이 사랑의 수행 속에서, 모든 것들, 몸과 마음, 지위, 행복 그리고 삶 그 자체마저도 희생시키는 것이다.   4 The only Real Renunciation is that which abandons, even in the midst of worldly duties, all selfish thoughts and desires. 진정한 포기란 오로지 버리는 것으로, 이기적인 모든 생각들과 욕망들과 세속적인 중요한 의무들까지도 버리는 것이다.    5 The only Real Knowledge is the knowledge is that GOD is the inner dweller in good people and so-called bad, in saints and in so-called sinner. This knowledge requires you to help all equally as circumstances demand, without expectation of reward and, when compelled to take part in a dispute, to act without the slightest trace of enmity or hatred; to try to make others happy with brotherly or sisterly feelings for each one; to harm no one in though, word or deed, not even those who harm you.  진정한 지식이란 선량한 사람들과 나쁘다고 그렇게 불려지는 사람들 속에 거주하는 신(神)에 대해 아는 것뿐이다. 이 지식은 그대가 그 어떠한 보답도 기대하지 않고, 증오나 미움의 아주 작은 발자취를 남기는 짓을 하지 않으며, 모든 사람들을 형제 자매로 느낌으로써 친절하게 다른 사람들의 행복을 위해 노력하며, 나를 해를 끼치려는 사람들을 포함하여 그 어떠한 사람에게도 말이나 행동으로 해하지 않고, 어쩔 수 없는 경쟁사회 속에서 차지해야 하는, 그 어떠한 상황에서도 모두에게 똑같이 도움을 베풀어야 한다는 것을 요구한다   6 The only Real Control is the discipline of the senses from indulgence in low desires, which alone ensures absolute purity of character. 진정한 절제란 혼자서 순수한 인격을 온전히 익힘으로써  꼭 필요한 최소한의 욕망만 남긴 채, 방종으로부터 자기를 수양하는 감수성을 지닌 힘이다.   7 The only Real Surrender is that in which poise is undisturbed by any adverse circumstances and the individual, amidst every kind of hardship, is resigned with perfect calm to the Will of God. 진정한 포기란 어떤 종류의 고난 속에서도, 어떤 불리한 상황들과 특별한 반대에 부딪치더라도   흔들리지 않는 균형의 상태로  온전한 평온함 속에서 신의 의지에 자신을 맡기는 것이다.
