I can’t believe [how you waver]
—how easily you have turned [traitor to him //who called you by the grace of Christ]

it is completely other, an alien message, a no-message, a lie about God.
[Those //who are provoking this agitation among you] are turning the Message of Christ on its head.

//who 그분은 called 부르신 you 너희를 by the grace of Christ 그리스도의 은혜로]
by embracing 수용함으로 an alternative message 대안/대체 메세지를!
It 그건 is not 아니다 a minor variation 사소한 변이가 , you 너희도 know 알잖아;
it is completely 완전히 other 다른 거야, an alien message 낯선/외계인 메시지다, a no-message 말도 안 되는 메세지다,
a lie about God
[Those 그들은 //who are provoking 선동하는 this agitation 이런 소요를 among you 너희 가운데]
are turning 뒤바꾸고 있다 the Message of Christ 그리스도의 메세지를 on its head 휙 돌려서 반대로.
Let me be blunt:
If one of us—even if an angel from heaven!—were to preach something other than what we preached originally,
let him be cursed.
I said it once; I’ll say it again:
If anyone, regardless of reputation or credentials, preaches something other than what you received originally,
let him be cursed.
* blunt ; to say exactly what you think without trying to be polite, not having a sharp edge or point:
* than ; introduces a comparison or a contrast or difference. 비교나 다른 점 제안 시에 사용
* 숙어인 be+to 부정사 ; ~하기로 되어있다
The structure “be + infinitive” is often used to talk about plans which have been already made for the future.
Notice that we use the structure “be + infinitive” as a shortened form of the future “going to”
His job is to preach.
one of us were to preach에서는 us가 전파하기라는 동작을 할 수 있으므로 전파하기로 되어있다로 됨
Let me [be blunt], let him [be cursed] ; 사역동사+목적+목보인 원형 부정사구 ; (to) be+형
* credentials ; the abilities and experience that make someone suitable for a particular job or activity,
or proof of someone's abilities and experience
* reputation ; the opinion that people in general have about someone or something,
* used in the imperative to formulate various expressions.
1. used as a polite way of making or responding to a suggestion, giving an instruction, or introducing a remark.
2. used to make a polite offer of help.
3. used to express one's strong desire for something to happen or be the case.
4. used as a way of expressing defiance or challenge.
5. used to express an assumption upon which a theory or calculation is to be based. 한다면
* 전목인 의문사절 what we preached (목) originally 의문사=접속사=목적
* 직독 해석
If one of us 우리 중 하나라도—even if an angel from heaven 천국에서 온 천사라도!—were to preach 전파하기로 되었다면 something other 다른 어떤 것 than what 그것과는 다른 we 우리가 preached 전파한 originally 원래/처음에,
let him be cursed.
I said it once 한번 말했다; I’ll say it again
If anyone 누구라도, regardless 상관없이; of reputation 평판이나 or credentials 자격에, preaches 전파한다면
something other 다른 어떤 것을 than what 그것과는 다른 you 너희가 received 받은 originally 원래/처음에,
let him be cursed.

Do you think () I speak this /strongly /in order to manipulate crowds?
Or court favor with God? Or get popular applause?
If my goal was popularity, I wouldn’t bother [being Christ’s slave].
* think의 목적절 ; (that) I speak this /strongly /in order to manipulate crowds
* ' in order to' makes explicit the actor's reasoning for performing the first action.
* court favor - seek favor by fawning or flattery;
* popularity : 1. the fact that something or someone is liked, enjoyed, or supported by many people:
* bother ; take the trouble to do something. 고생스레 하다
* bother의 목적인 동명사구 being Christ’s slave 지금 현재/실제로 그리스도의 하인인 상태
* 직독 해석
Do you think 생각하느냐 (that)절 내용을 즉 I speak 말한다고 this 이것을 /strongly 강력하게
/in order to manipulate crowds
Or court favor with God Or get 받으려고 popular applause 인기의 박수를?
If my goal 내 목표가 was popularity 인기였다면, I wouldn’t bother 고생스레 노력하지 않았을 것이다
[being Christ’s slave 그리스도의 종 되기를].
Know this—I am most emphatic here, friends—

Immediately after my calling
—without consulting anyone around me and without going up to Jerusalem
/to confer with those //who were apostles long before I was—
I got away /to Arabia.
Later I returned /to Damascus,
but it was three years /before I went up to Jerusalem to compare stories with Peter.

21-24
Then I began my ministry /in the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
After all that time and activity I was still unknown /by face /among the Christian churches in Judea.

When Paul addressed his letter to the Galatians, he wrote “to the churches in Galatia,” rather than to a single church
as he usually did with other letters (Galatians 1:1–2).
Scholars believe that Galatians was most likely the first book of the New Testament to be written, around AD 49.
Paul had founded this church and was concerned because the new Galatian believers were being influenced
by the Judaizers, Jews who taught that salvation required keeping the Mosaic Law (specifically circumcision),
as well as believing in Jesus (Galatians 2:14).
1차 A.D. 47-49 2년간 2,200 km
