So elegant by the creek

Pansies in bloom

Overshadowing the water.

Rice fish flock together

Minnow move in groups

Touching or teasing

the violet reflection.

Violets’ shadow

Growing taller and taller

Towards the evening dusk.

제비꽃

시냇가에 곱다랗게

피어 있는 제비꽃

물속에 제 그림자를 드리우고 있다.

송사리 피라미 떼를 지어

몰려다니다

제비꽃 그림자를

툭

툭

건드리며 놀리고 있다.

제비꽃 그림자

조금씩 키가 커가는

저녁 해거름.

Oh, it is so innocent, lucid, natural, beautiful and peaceful.

The poet describes natural scenary in an exquisite manner with only a few poetic words, touching the readers’ mind so delicately.

- the sound of ringing from the bottom of my heart

- the poet’s amazing dexterity of describing nature

Violets in bloom by the creek, rice fish or minnow flocking in groups, violet shadow, and evening dusk in all are so well-harmonized that they resonate and move the heart.

It's so quiet and peaceful that I completely forget about the hustle & bustle of the world.

I believe that this is ‘poetry of purifying the soul.’
