④ 종교통일의 방안 - 2

여러분이 뭐 유니피케이션 처치(UNIFICATION CHURCH;통일교인)란 말 듣게 되면, '어-, 그 유니피케이션 처치라는 것이 그거 뭐 역사시대에 수많은 사람들이 꿈꾸고 해보려고 하다가 실패한 건데, 이제 와 가지고 뭐 다 된 판에 유니피케이션 처치가 뭐냐'고 비웃을지 모르겠지만, 어떻게 할 것이라는 방안에 대해서는 생각하지 못했을 거라구요. 그러나 이 위하는 원칙을 중심 삼고 끝까지 나가는 무리가 있다면, 기독교가 400교파가 되더라도 그건 하나될 것입니다. 

오늘 미국이 세계를 위해서, 이 미국이 없어질 때까지 진정 세계를 위해서 있다고 하게 되면 이 미국을 중심 삼고 세계는 하나될 것입니다. 일시가 아니라 영원을 표준한 거예요, 영원을. 그러한 나라가 있으면, 그 나라는 세계를 지도하는 거예요. 뿐만이 아니라 하나님까지도 우리를 환대할 수 있다는 거예요. (70- 308) 

내가 통일교회를 중심삼고 통일하려는 비법이 뭐냐? 문제는 간단하다고 봅니다. 나는 복잡하게 보지 않아요. 간단하게 보고 복잡하게 분석해야 되겠다 이겁니다. 어떻게 간단하게 보느냐? 둘이 있으면 이마를 맞대고 내 교파가 옳거니 네 교파가 옳거니 하고 싸우는데, 상대가 이단이고 사탄 마귀라 하더라도 끊임없이 찾아가자. 끊임없이 만나자는 것입니다.

1년 가고, 2년 가고, 3년 가고 그러다 가만 보니까 너무했거든요. 사람이 양심이 있지, 세 번 이상 과격하게 대한 후에는 자기 양심의 소리가 들리는 거예요. '야, 이놈아! 도의적인 면에서도 생각해야지, 인간이란 그런 게 아니잖아? 너무했다.' 이러는 거예요. 그렇게 스스로 깨닫게 되는 겁니다. (126-331)

④ 宗教統一の方案 - 2

皆さんが何かユニフィケーション・チャーチ（＝統一教会）という言葉を聞けば、「おお、そのユニフィケーション・チャーチというものが、それが何か歴史時代に数多くの人々が夢を見、やってみようとして失敗したことなのに、今になってすべて失敗した後なのに、ユニフィケーション・チャーチとは何か」と嘲笑するかもしれませんが、「（統一教会が）どのようにするか」という方案に対しては考えはしなかったはずです。

しかし、この「為に生きる」という原則を中心として最後まで出ていく群れがあるならば、キリスト教が四百教派になるとしても、それは一つになることでしょう。

今のアメリカが世界のために、このアメリカがなくなるときまで真に世界のために存在するとするなら、このアメリカを中心として世界は一つになることでしょう。一時ではなく永遠を基準とするのです、永遠を。そのような国があれば、その国は世界を指導するのです。それだけでなく、神様までも私たちを歓待することができるというのです。 (70- 308)

私が統一教会を中心として統一しようとする秘法は何でしょうか？　問題は簡単だと思います。私は複雑には見ません。簡単に見て複雑に分析すべきだというのです。

どのように簡単に見るのでしょうか？　二人いれば額を突き合わせて私の教派が正しいだのお前の教派が正しいだのと言って争う場合に、相手が「異端だ、サタン、悪魔だ」と言っても絶えず訪ねていこう、絶えず会おうというのです。一年過ぎ、二年過ぎ、三年過ぎ、そうして、よくよく考えてみると、あまりにもやり過ぎたのです。

人には良心があり、三度以上過激に対した後には自分の良心の声が聞こえるのです。「やあ、こいつ！　道義的な面でも考えなきゃ、人間というのは、そういうものではないじゃないか？　やり過ぎた」こうなのです。そのように自ら悟るようになるのです。（一九八三・五・一、リトルエンジェルス芸術会館）

④ The Plan for Unification of Religions - 2

When you hear the name Unification Church, perhaps you may ridicule us saying, "Oh, this thing called Unification Church, in history many people dreamed about it and failed.

Now to come out and talk about it when things are nearly done, what's this Unification Church?" But if you do, then you have not thought about the plan of how to do it. But if there is a group which is willing to go to the end centered on this rule of living for others, even if Christianity has 400 denominations, they will become one.

Today if America lives for the world, if it lives for the world sincerely until America itself disappears, then centered on that America the world would become one. Not just for a moment; it's an eternal standard, eternity. If there were a nation like that, that nation would lead the world, and not only that, even God would welcome us. (70-308) 

What is my secret method for achieving unification centered on the Unification Church? I don't look at things in a complicated way. It's a matter of looking at things simply and having to analyze them in a complicated way.

How do you look at things simply? If there are two of you put your foreheads together and fight over whether your denomination is right or my denomination is right, and even if your objects are heretical or even the devil Satan, let's keep visiting them. Let's meet them continuously. Go for one year, go for two years, go for three years, and then when they think about it, they will realize they overdid it. People have consciences. 

After three or more times of treating a person excessively, they hear the voice of their consciences. "Oh, come on. You have to think in terms of moral principles. A person shouldn't be like that. You overdid it." (126-331)
