(Vernalization)
- quote -
I asked a world-class psychiatrist who returned home after living in Korea as a visiting professor.
What was the image of a Korean?
"Koreans are too kind.
However, it is a misunderstanding to judge that it is the person's personality.
He is too kind to a powerful or famous person.
It is often surprising that ordinary people who are weaker or weaker than themselves are arrogant.
In particular, it is unpleasant to go with the restaurant staff because they are rude.
The more popular the elite is, the more people have such dual personalities.
It's embarrassing if we don't know each other well or if they're a VIP.
If they belong to the elite class in Korea, they are an educated person.
The more educated people are, the more humble they should be, but they are rather arrogant.
They have a lot of knowledge, but they are not wise.
Words are knowledgeable, but actions are ignorant.
Moreover, the spirit of compliance is a mess."
Corruption is bound to be widespread as powerful people do not obey the law.
Another contradiction of Korean elites is that they never admit their faults.
If something goes wrong in the company, it is all because of the superiors and subordinates, and there is no self-reflection.
The world is all because of others.
As a result, people are too negative.
Sitting together is a political story, but it is completely evaluated as black and white logic.
There is no respected president in Korea.
This is why everyone is a man to kill, and that's why he is a man to kill.
The national income is around $30,000, and the national consciousness is around $500.
It boasts of remarkable economic development, but that means that it has soon become a lightning rich.
What are the disadvantages of the lightning rich?
I'm just bragging to others that I have this much.
The meaning of success is too narrow.
They envy people who live better than themselves even though they have money and live well and are always dissatisfied with something.
*This is the Chunhwa phenomenon (Vernalization).*
A Korean living in Sydney, Australia, cut off forsythia branches on his way to his home country and moved them to the front yard of his house.
The following spring came.
Thanks to the clear air and good sunlight, branches and leaves were more lush than in Korea, but flowers did not bloom.
I thought it was the first year, but flowers did not bloom in the second and third years.
And then I finally found out.
In Australia, where there is no cold winter like Korea, forsythia flowers do not bloom at all.
The term "chunhwa phenomenon" in which flowers bloom only through low temperatures is called the "chunhwa phenomenon," and tulips, hyacinths, lilies, lilacs, royal azaleas, and azaleas all belong to this.
Life is like a spring flower phenomenon.
Flowers in a dazzling life bloom only after severe cold weather.
On the other hand, compared to spring barley that sows in spring, autumn barley that sows in autumn and spends winter is far more harvested and tastes good.
The fruits of life are like barley in autumn, so they become richer and stronger through winter.
Likewise, the more people go through hardships, the deeper the strength and fragrant taste.
If the current reality of Korea is a spring flower phenomenon that young people have to bear and experience, generations to endure feel tight.
