Bible Reading - Luke 1:41~50

1:41 When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, 

엘리사벳이 마리아의 인사를 들었을 때

the baby leaped in her womb, 그 아기가 그녀의 태에서 뛰었고

and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 엘리사벳은 성령으로 충만해졌다.

1:42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: 큰 음성으로 그녀는 선포했다.

"Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!

여자들 중에 네가 복이 있고 네가 잉태한 그 아이가 복이 있다.

1:43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

어찌하여 내가 이토록 은총을 입었기에 주님의 어머니께서 나를 찾아오시는 것일까?

1:44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, 

너의 인사하는 소리가 내 귀에 도달하자마자 곧 바로 

the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 내 태에 있는 그 아기가 기쁨으로 뛰었다.

1:45 Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!"

주께서 그녀에게 말씀하셨던 것이 성취될 것이라는 것을 믿었던 그녀는 복이 있도다.

1:46 And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord

그리고 마리아가 말하기를 " 내 영혼이 주님께 영광을 돌리며

1:47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 내 영이 내 구주 하나님을 기뻐합니다."

1:48 for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant.

주님께서는 당신의 종의 비천한 처지를 기억하고 계십니다.

 From now on all generations will call me blessed,

지금부터 계속, 모든 세대들이 나를 복되다고 할 것이다.

1:49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me--holy is his name.

전능하신 분께서 내게 큰 일을 행하셨으니, 그분의 이름은 거룩하시도다.

1:50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.

그분의 자비는 그분을 경외하는 자들에게 대대로 지속합니다.
