서론 : The #MeToo Movement is a Hash Tag movement that began in 2017. It started with a hashtag that became popular in social media. The Hashtag campaign was used by activist Tarawa Burke. Milan, the honorary doctor in University of Michigan encouraged women to recognize this behavior by exposing their experience of sexual assault on Twitter. Since then, many people have used the hash tags to reveal their experiences. This movement has spread around the world.
본론 1 : Korea’s #MeToo movement started on January 29,2018, prosecutor Seo ji-hyun
revealing her sexual harassment damage 8 years ago. Since then, she appeared in the news room for reporting sexual violence in the prosecution. As a result, the number of sexual harassment charges against the victims has been widespread through SNS, while the cultural and art circles and political circles have also spread to 20 people who were identified as perpetrators of sexual crime. 결론 : Although the #MeToo movement formed an empathy ground about structural gender discrimination in our society, it was limited just sexual crime and it was expanded competition between men and women. The heat of the #MeToo movement seems to gradually cool down over time. To bring changes in our society, institutional change and appropriate legal punishment for the attacker will be needed. The #MeToo movement is a movement in which civil consciousness grows from the developing country thinking to developed country thinking. We hope that our society will grow by the steady spread of the #MeToo movement.
