They is a third person plural pronoun.
They(their, them)는 3인칭 복수 대명사로서 둘 이상의 사람, 동물, 사물을 대신해서 나타내는 말이다. 그런데 단수 대명사(he, she, it) 그리고 일부 부정 대명사 indefinite pronoun(anyone, everyone)를 써야 할 경우에 이를 대신해서 they를 쓰기도 한다. 이를 Singular THEY라 하는데, 中性 THEY(epicene they), 또는 兩性 THEY(unixex they) 로 부르기도 한다.
