Wall flower is a coming of age film. The film revolves around the three main characters, Charlie, Sam and Patrick. It is about their pain and secrets. As watching, viewers can emphathize and can look back on their teenage life.
Charlie is an unfortunate boy. He is insecure and doesn't have any self-esteem. Even more, his only friend committed suicide, he has no friends. As a result, his such characteristics are going deeper.
Sam is no different from Charlie. She is more confident seemingly but she also has pain inside her heart. Patrick is her stepbrother who is gay. They all get together and become friends.
I was deeply motivated and touched throughout the film. I could share their stories and I was totally engaged. Also, I've got some lessons. I felt like I was comforted. I realised that everyone has their own pain. It's quite obvious that everyone has pain but when I feel so tired or suffered from everything that I have fear, somehow, I feel like I'm the only one who feels like that way.
In the end, they healed their emotional wound and pain themselves. So I could get confident. I hope many teenagers to watch this film. They would be able to get confidence in their capacity to recover pain they have. The background music is really nice as well. I think the music also helped me to be engaged. This film is definitely worth watching in various ways, so i highly recommend you to watch it and be able to heal yourself watching the film.
