By the influence of long holidays, so many carp fishermen ,so-called Daemul people are here and there,
displaying their luxurious rods and rod-stands.
We were so lucky to get a nice point we wanted to do..the pine trees point in the middle.
I am aware of that pine trees point is very deep, more than 10 meters depth at least I guess,
as it was the main course of the stream before the lake was erected.
The bottom of this point should be accumulated with soft & thick mud and dregs where sinkers
could well settle down to bottom pulling the baits into middle of mud.
To avoid sinking down the baits under mud, I specially devised sinkers connected with long string of cotton yarn.
By doing so, I expect the sinker locates at the bottom and baits just above the mud for it's long cotton yarn.
Not long after the installation of 10 rods, number 4 rod began bowing slightly, swinging down
approximately 10 centimeters.
Again bowing with intervals of 5-10 minutes. Like this, the bowing continued so long time.
Enjoying talking with Gabsung, we stared at the top of the number 4 rod for some time.
With less patience, ah ..I made up my mind to yank the rod...but nothing there at the other end of line.
Soon after I gave a jerk the rod, I suddenly recalled the advice my fellow eel fisherman gave
"not jerk the rod when rod-top bows slowly and wait until the eel swallow the bait completely".
Since then, silence and no moving became my close friends as usual throughout the evening...
