through thick and thin, 좋을 때든 나쁠 때든

Good morning!  Today's English expression‎ is:  through thick and thin.    Through thick and thin means through good and bad (whatever good times and difficulties).  This expression‎ is often said in American wedding ceremonies.      Here is an example conversation:  Person A:  Megan, you're my best friend.                   I want to thank you for always being there for me through thick and thin. You're an amazing person. Person B: What are best friends for??  You've been there for me in good and bad times too.                  So, I have a wonderful best friend too.
