『Casablanca』는 1982년 발매된 미국의 「Bertie Higgins」가

1982년 내놓은 데뷔 음반에 수록된 곡으로, 음반이 발매되자

마자, 무려 29주 동안이나 '빌 보드 차트에 머무는 빅 히트를

기록했습니다.

또한 이 곡이 1983년 국내에 상륙 당시, 멜로디 라인이 국내

팬들의 정서에 맞아 떨어져 당시 가수 '최 헌'이 번안곡으로

불러 많은 인기를 누렸던 노래입니다.

『Casablanca』는 당대 최고 배우 'Humphrey Bogart'와 'Ingrid

Bergman 主演의 흑백 영화 『Casablanca』(1943)의 주제곡은

아니고, 「Bertie Higgins」가 영화 『Casablanca』를 본 후,

감동적인 느낌을 이 노래에 담아 부르게 되었다고 합니다.
