Year 2 Entry Point - I'm Alive

Year 2 had an amazing, new experience for their ‘I’m Alive’ Entry Point last week where they became little gardeners who had a go at planting their own terrariums (mini gardens). They kicked off the activity by planning their gardens as a team. They thought up interesting themes and names for their gardens, then decided which plants and decorations they wanted. The children used prior knowledge gained to brainstorm what plants will need to stay alive and healthy. They then planted their gardens and placed them outside where it would receive sufficient sunlight for healthy growth. It was great to watch the children cooperating, showing curiosity, and being respectful to their fellow teammates. Good job little gardeners!
