주는 토기장이 나는 진흙

You are the potter I am the clay <pp-1>

창 Gen. 1:26-28

26 하나님이 가라사대 우리의 형상을 따라 우리의 모양대로 우리가 사람을 만들고 그로 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 육축과 온 땅과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다스리게 하자 하시고

27 하나님이 자기 형상 곧 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 창조하시되 남자와 여자를 창조하시고

28 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되 생육하고 번성하여 땅에 충만하라, 땅을 정복하라, 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 땅에 움직이는 모든 생물을 다스리라 하시니라

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

우리를 최고의 존재로 창조하시는 하나님

하나님은 창조주 하나님이십니다. God is Creator. 하나님은 무에서 유를 창조하시는 분이십니다. God is who creates something with nothing. 하나님은 측량할 수 없을 정도로 최고의 걸작을 만드시는 분이십니다. God is who makes masterpieces wonderfully. 하나님은 우리를 얼마나 존귀하게 지으셨는지, 26절에 보면, 하나님의 형상을 따라 하나님의 모양대로 지으셨다고 말씀하십니다. Verse 26 says how preciously He created us, “in our image and in our likeness.” 우리의 형상에는 하나님의 형상이 있습니다. In our image, God’s image is. 우리의 모양에는 하나님의 모양이 있습니다. In our likeness, God’s likeness is. 그리고 우리는 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 땅에 움직이는 모든 생물을 다스리는 존재로 창조되었습니다. We were created as the people who rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground. 이 얼마나 존귀한 존재입니까. How precious we are. 우리 옆사람에게 인사합시다. “00님은 참으로 존귀하십니다” Let’s greet one another with this “you are so precious.”

<pp-2> 그런데, 이렇게 존귀한 존재인 사람의 재료는 무엇일까요. Let’s think about it. What was the material for making people? 창 2:7에서 말씀합니다. “여호와 하나님이 흙으로 사람을 지으시고” Gen. 2:7 says “the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground” 하나님은 흙덩이를 가지고, 이렇게 존귀한 사람을 창조하신 것입니다. God formed the precious man with the dust of the ground. 흙덩이는 여기저기 널려있습니다. The dust exists everywhere. 그것은 가치있는 것이 아닙니다. It is not worthy. 존귀한 것이 아닙니다. It is not precious. 그러나, 가치없고 아무것도 아닌 흙덩이라 할지라도, 하나님의 손에 만져지면, 보배롭고 소중한 존재가 됩니다. However, although the dust of the ground is not priceless, if God’s hand touches it, it became precious and valuable.   

<pp-4> 성경에서는 하나님을 토기장이로, 사람은 진흙으로 비유합니다. The Bible says, God as the potter and people as clay. 하나님께서 그 진흙으로 빚으시면, 하나님의 뜻대로, 하나님의 원하심대로, 하나님의 형상을 따라, 하나님의 모양대로, 우리가 빚어집니다. If God molds the clay, the clay is changed to a masterpiece made by God’s will and God’s want in God’s image and likeness.

스트라디바리우스라는 바이얼린이 있습니다. The violins are called as Stradivarius. 얼마나 아름다운 소리를 내는지, 만들어진 바이얼린들 중에 최고의 걸작입니다. How beautiful the sound is. The violins are the best of violins in the world. 이 바이얼린의 이름인 스트라디바리우스는, 그 바이얼린을 만든 사람의 이름입니다. The name of the violins is rooted by the name of the maker of the violins. 똑 같은 나무입니다. The material woods are all the same. 그러나, 스트라디바리우스가 만들면, 가장 아름다운 소리를 내는 걸작 바이얼린이 만들어집니다. However, if Stradivarius made a violin with the same wood, the violin that has beautiful sound was made.  

최고의 인생들을 만드시는 분은 바로 하나님이십니다. The Creator who makes the best life is God. 하나님이 만지시면, 그 인생은 최고의 인생이 됩니다. If God touches a life, the life became the best. 2011년을 시작하며, 우리 2011년을 하나님께 맡깁시다. Let’s give our 2011 to God. 하나님께서 2011년을 그리고 내 온 평생을 만지시도록 내어드립시다. Let’s offer 2011 and our lifetime to God so that He molds and makes it. 진흙이 어찌 스스로 토기를 만들 수 있겠으며, 어찌 스스로 훌륭한 작품을 만들 수 있겠습니까. How can the clay make a pot by itself, and How can it mold a masterpiece by itself? 오직 하나님만이 만드실 수 있습니다. only God can do it. 우리 이시간 내 뜻, 내 생각을 내려놓고, 우리 자신을 하나님께 내어 드립시다. Let’s lay down my will and my though and offer ourselves to God. 토기장이이신 하나님께 진흙인 우리를 내어드립시다. Let’s offer us as a clay to God. 하나님이 만지시면, 최고의 걸작이 됩니다. If God touched us, we can be masterpiece. 하나님 만져주시옵소서. May God mold us. 하나님을 닮은 존재로, 하나님의 꿈과 소망이 담긴 존재로 만들어 주옵소서. May God make us as the beings like you and the being full of God’s vision and hope.

1. 하나님, 내 인생을 만져주옵소서. 하나님 안에서, 새해 2011년이 최고의 해로, 내인생이 최고의 인생이 되게 하옵소서. First, May God mold and make my life. May 2011 be the best year and my life be the best life in God.

2. Mark 형제 1/28-2/5 인도 단기선교여행 준비가 잘 되게 하옵소서. 필요한 재정 800$이채워지며, 팀원모두 성령으로 충만하게 하옵소서. Second, May God help Mark Yu to prepare short term mission to India 1/28-2/5. Support his finance need for it 800$ and fill all team members with the Holy Spirit.

3. 1월16일에 있을 정기교인총회가 하나님의 비젼과 희망으로 가득하게 하옵소서. May God fill Kansas New Vision Church Council on 1/16 with God’s vision and hope.
