[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 다니엘4장

1. 느부갓네살 왕은 온 땅에 거하는 모든 백성들과 민족들과 언어들에게 조서를 내리노니 너희에게 평강이 많이 있을지어다.

Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

2. 나는 높으신 [하나님]께서 내게 행하신 표적들과 이적들을 알리는 것이 좋을 줄로 생각하였노라.

I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. 

3. 그분의 표적들은 어찌 그리 큰가! 그분의 이적들은 어찌 그리 능한가! 그분의 왕국은 영존하는 왕국이요, 그분의 통치는 대대에 이르는도다.

How great [are] his signs! and how mighty [are] his wonders! his kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion [is] from generation to generation.

4. 나 느부갓네살이 내 집에서 안식하며 내 궁궐에서 번창할 때에

I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace:

5. 나를 무섭게 하는 한 꿈을 보고 내 침상에서의 생각들과 내 머리 속의 환상들로 말미암아 근심하였노라.

I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

6. 그러므로 내가 칙령을 내려 바빌론의 모든 지혜자들을 내 앞으로 데려다가 그들이 그 꿈의 해석을 내게 알려 주게 하였느니라.

Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise [men] of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

7. 그때에 마술사들과 별을 살피는 자들과 갈대아 사람들과 점쟁이들이 들어왔기에 내가 그 꿈을 그들 앞에 말하였으나 그들이 그것의 해석을 내게 알려 주지 못하였노라.

Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof.

8. 그러나 마지막에 다니엘이 내 앞에 들어왔는데 그의 이름은 내 신의 이름을 따라 벨드사살이요, 그 속에는 거룩한 신들의 영이 있더라. 내가 그 앞에서 그 꿈을 말하여 이르되,

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, [saying],

9. 오 마술사들의 우두머리 벨드사살아, 네 속에는 거룩한 신들의 영이 있으므로 어떤 은밀한 일도 너를 근심하게 하지 못하는 줄을 내가 아노니 그런즉 내가 본 내 꿈의 환상들과 그것의 해석을 내게 말하라.

O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

10. 내가 침상에서 본 내 머리 속의 환상들은 이러하니라. 내가 보니, 보라, 땅의 한가운데 한 나무가 있는데 그것의 높이가 심히 높더라.

Thus [were] the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof [was] great. 

11. 그 나무가 자라서 강하게 되고 그것의 높이가 하늘에까지 닿아 그것의 모습이 온 땅의 끝까지 이르렀으며

The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:

12. 그것의 잎사귀들은 아름답고 그것의 열매는 많아서 그 나무 안에 모든 사람이 먹을 것이 있고 또 들의 짐승들이 그 밑의 그늘에 있으며 하늘의 날짐승들이 그것의 가지들에 깃들이고 모든 육체가 거기서 먹을 것을 얻더라.

The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

13. 내가 내 침상에서 내 머리 속의 환상들 속에서 보는데, 보라, 한 순찰자 곧 한 거룩한 자가 하늘에서 내려와

I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

14. 크게 외치며 이같이 이르기를, 그 나무를 베어 내고 그것의 가지들을 자르며 그것의 잎사귀들을 흔들어 떨고 그것의 열매를 흩으며 짐승들을 그 밑에서 떠나게 하고 날짐승들을 그것의 가지들에서 떠나게 하라.

He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: 

15. 그럼에도 불구하고 그것의 뿌리들의 그루터기는 땅에 남겨 두되 쇠와 놋 띠로 매고 들의 연한 풀 가운데 있게 하라. 또 그것을 하늘의 이슬에 젖게 하며 그의 몫이 땅의 풀 가운데서 짐승들과 함께 있게 하라.

Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

16. 또 그의 마음을 바꾸어 사람의 마음과 같지 아니하게 하고 짐승의 마음을 그에게 주며 일곱 때가 그의 위로 지나가게 하라.

Let his heart be changed from mans, and let a beasts heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

17. 이 일은 순찰자들의 명령에 따른 것이요, 이 요구는 거룩한 자들의 말에 따른 것이니 그 목적은 [지극히 높으신 이]가 사람들의 왕국에서 다스리시고 자기 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시며 또 사람들 중에서 가장 비천한 자를 그것 위에 세우시는 줄을 산 자들이 알게 하려 함이라, 하였느니라.

This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

18. 나 느부갓네살 왕이 이 꿈을 보았나니, 오 벨드사살아, 이제 너는 그것의 해석을 밝히 고하라. 내 왕국의 모든 지혜자들이 능히 해석을 내게 알려 주지 못하였으나 너는 할 수 있나니 거룩한 신들의 영이 네 속에 있느니라.

This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou [art] able; for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee.

19. 그때에 벨드사살이라는 이름을 가진 다니엘이 한 시간 동안 크게 놀라며 자기 생각들로 말미암아 근심하므로 왕이 말하여 이르되, 벨드사살아, 그 꿈이나 그것의 해석으로 말미암아 근심하지 말라, 하매 벨드사살이 응답하여 이르되, 내 주여, 그 꿈이 왕을 미워하는 자들을 향하고 그것의 해석이 왕의 원수들을 향하기를 원하나이다.

Then Daniel, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream [be] to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

20. 왕이 보신 나무는 자라서 강하게 되어 그것의 높이가 하늘에까지 닿아 그것의 모습이 온 땅에 이르렀으며

The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;

21. 그것의 잎사귀들은 아름답고 그것의 열매는 많아서 그 나무 안에 모든 사람의 먹을 것이 있고 들의 짐승들이 그 밑에 거하며 하늘의 날짐승들이 그것의 가지들에 거처를 두었나이다.

Whose leaves [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:

22. 오 왕이여, 그것 즉 자라서 강하게 된 것은 왕이시니 왕의 크신 위엄은 자라나서 하늘에까지 닿으며 왕의 통치는 땅 끝까지 이르나이다.

It [is] thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

23. 왕이 보시니 한 순찰자 곧 한 거룩한 자가 하늘에서 내려와 이르기를, 그 나무를 베어 내고 그것을 멸하라. 그러나 그것의 뿌리들의 그루터기는 땅에 남겨 두되 쇠와 놋 띠로 매며 들의 연한 풀 가운데 있게 하라. 또 그것을 하늘의 이슬에 젖게 하고 일곱 때가 그의 위로 지나가기까지 그의 몫이 들의 짐승들과 함께 있게 하라, 하였나이다.

And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;

24. 오 왕이여, 그 해석은 이러하니이다. 이것은 내 주 왕 위에 임한 [지극히 높으신 이]의 명령이니이다.

This [is] the interpretation, O king, and this [is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

25. 곧 그들이 왕을 사람들에게서 몰아내리니 왕의 거처가 들의 짐승들과 함께 있을 것이요, 그들이 왕으로 하여금 소처럼 풀을 먹게 하며 하늘의 이슬로 왕을 적시리이다. 일곱 때가 왕의 위로 지나간 뒤에야 비로소 왕이 [지극히 높으신 이]가 사람들의 왕국에서 다스리시며 자신의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄 아시리이다.

That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

26. 또 그들이 그 나무뿌리들의 그루터기를 남겨 두라고 명령하였은즉 하늘들이 다스리심을 왕이 안 뒤에야 비로소 왕의 왕국이 왕에게 확실히 돌아가리이다.

And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.

27. 그런즉, 오 왕이여, 나의 권고를 받으시고 의로 왕의 죄들을 끊어 버리시며 가난한 자를 긍휼히 여김으로 왕의 불법들을 끊어 버리소서. 그것이 혹시라도 왕의 평안함을 늘리리이다, 하니라.

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. 

28. 이 모든 일이 느부갓네살 왕에게 임하니라.

All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.

29. 열두 달의 끝에 그가 바빌론 왕국의 궁궐에서 거닐더라.

At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. 

30. 왕이 말하여 이르되, 이 큰 바빌론은 내가 내 권능의 힘으로 건설하여 왕국의 집으로 삼고 내 위엄의 영광으로 삼은 것이 아니냐? 하매

The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

31. 아직 그 말이 왕의 입에 있을 때에 하늘에서 한 음성이 내려와 이르시되, 오 느부갓네살 왕아, 네게 이것을 말하노니 그 왕국이 네게서 떠났느니라.

While the word [was] in the kings mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, [saying], O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

32. 그들이 너를 사람들에게서 몰아내리니 네 거처가 들의 짐승들과 함께 있을 것이요, 그들이 너로 하여금 소처럼 풀을 먹게 하리라. 일곱 때가 네 위로 지나간 뒤에야 비로소 네가 [지극히 높으신 이]가 사람들의 왕국에서 다스리시며 자기 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄을 알리라, 하매

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

33. 그 즉시로 그 일이 느부갓네살에게 이루어지니라. 그가 사람들에게서 쫓겨나 소처럼 풀을 먹으며 그의 몸이 하늘의 이슬에 젖고 마침내 그의 머리털이 독수리의 깃털같이 자랐으며 그의 손톱이 새들의 발톱같이 되었더라.

The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles [feathers], and his nails like birds [claws].

34. 그 날들의 끝에 나 느부갓네살이 내 눈을 들어 하늘을 보매 내 지각이 내게로 돌아오니라. 내가 [지극히 높으신 이]를 찬송하며 영원토록 사시는 그분을 찬양하고 공경하였나니 그분의 통치는 영존하는 통치요, 그분의 왕국은 대대에 이르는도다.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom [is] from generation to generation:

35. 그분께서는 땅의 모든 거주민을 아무것도 아닌 것으로 여기시며 하늘의 군대 안에서든지 땅의 거주민들 가운데서든지 자신의 뜻대로 행하시나니 아무도 그분의 손을 멈추게 하거나 그분께 이르기를, 당신이 무엇을 하나이까? 하지 못하리라.

And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

36. 바로 그때에 내 이성이 내게로 돌아왔고 또 내 왕국의 영광을 위하여 내 존귀와 광명이 내게로 돌아왔으며 내 조언자들과 내 영주들도 내게로 찾아왔고 내가 내 왕국에서 굳게 세워지며 뛰어난 위엄이 내게 더하여졌느니라.

At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

37. 이제 나 느부갓네살은 하늘의 [왕]을 찬양하며 칭송하며 공경하노라. 그분의 일들은 진리이고 그분의 길들은 공의이니 교만 속에서 걷는 자들을 그분께서 능히 낮추시느니라.

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works [are] truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
