다니엘5장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 다니엘5장

1. 벨사살 왕이 자기의 영주 천 명을 위하여 큰 잔치를 베풀고 그 천 명 앞에서 포도주를 마시니라.

Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.

2. 벨사살이 포도주를 맛보며 명령하여 자기 아버지 느부갓네살이 예루살렘의 성전에서 탈취한 금 그릇들과 은그릇들을 가져오라고 하였으니 이것은 왕과 그의 통치자들과 아내들과 첩들이 그것들로 마시려 함이었더라.

Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which [was] in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. 

3. 이에 그들이 예루살렘에 있던 [하나님]의 집의 성전에서 탈취한 금 그릇들을 가져오매 왕과 그의 통치자들과 아내들과 첩들이 그것들로 마시더라.

Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which [was] at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.

4. 그들이 포도주를 마시고는 금과 은과 놋과 쇠와 나무와 돌로 된 신들을 찬양하니라.

They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

5. 바로 그때에 사람의 손가락들이 나와서 등잔대 맞은편에 왕궁의 회칠한 벽에 글을 쓰는데 왕이 글을 쓰는 손의 일부를 보니라.

In the same hour came forth fingers of a mans hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the kings palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

6. 그때에 왕의 안색이 변하고 그가 자기 생각들로 말미암아 근심하므로 그의 허리뼈 마디가 풀리고 그의 무릎이 서로 부딪치매

Then the kings countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another. 

7. 왕이 크게 소리를 질러 별을 살피는 자들과 갈대아 사람들과 점쟁이들을 데려오게 하고 바빌론의 지혜자들에게 말하여 이르되, 누구든지 이 글을 읽고 그것의 해석을 내게 보이는 자에게는 내가 주홍색 옷을 입히고 금목걸이를 그의 목에 걸어 주며 왕국의 셋째 치리자로 삼으리라, 하니라.

The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. [And] the king spake, and said to the wise [men] of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. 

8. 그때에 왕의 모든 지혜자들이 들어왔으나 그들이 능히 그 글을 읽지 못하며 왕에게 그것의 해석을 알려 주지도 못하더라.

Then came in all the kings wise [men]: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.

9. 이에 벨사살 왕이 크게 근심하여 그의 안색이 변하였으므로 그의 영주들도 놀라니라.

Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his lords were astonied. 

10. 이제 왕비가 왕과 왕의 영주들의 말로 인해 잔치하는 집으로 들어와 말하여 이르되, 오 왕이여, 영원토록 사시옵소서. 왕의 생각들로 말미암아 근심하지 마시오며 왕의 안색을 바꾸지 마소서.

[Now] the queen, by reason of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banquet house: [and] the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed:

11. 왕의 왕국에 한 사람이 있는데 그 속에는 거룩한 신들의 영이 있나이다. 왕의 아버지 시대에 빛과 명철과 신들의 지혜 같은 지혜가 그에게서 발견되었나이다. 내가 말하노니 왕의 아버지 느부갓네살 왕 곧 왕의 아버지 되시는 그 왕께서 그를 마술사들과 별을 살피는 자들과 갈대아 사람들과 점쟁이들의 우두머리로 삼으셨나이다.

There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, [I say], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, [and] soothsayers; 

12. 왕이 벨드사살이라는 이름을 준 이 다니엘에게는 뛰어난 영과 지식과 명철과 꿈을 해석하는 것과 어려운 글귀를 밝히 보여 주는 것과 의문을 푸는 것이 있었나이다. 이제 다니엘을 부르소서. 그리하면 그가 그 해석을 알려 드리리이다, 하니라.

Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. 

13. 그때에 다니엘이 왕 앞에 이르매 왕이 다니엘에게 말하여 이르되, 네가 내 아버지 왕이 유대인 거주지에서 데려온 유다의 포로들의 자손에 속한 그 다니엘이냐?

Then was Daniel brought in before the king. [And] the king spake and said unto Daniel, [Art] thou that Daniel, which [art] of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry? 

14. 내가 너에 대하여 들었는데 네 속에는 신들의 영이 있으며 빛과 명철과 뛰어난 지혜가 네게서 발견되었다 하는도다.

I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods [is] in thee, and [that] light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

15. 지금 지혜자들과 별을 살피는 자들을 내 앞에 데려다가 그들이 이 글을 읽고 내게 그것의 해석을 알려 주게 하였으나 그들이 능히 그것에 대한 해석을 보이지 못하였느니라.

And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing:

16. 내가 너에 대하여 들었는데 너는 해석을 할 수 있으며 의문을 풀 수 있다 하는도다. 그런즉 이제 네가 그 글을 읽고 그것의 해석을 내게 알려 주면 내가 네게 주홍색 옷을 입히고 금목걸이를 네 목에 걸어 주며 왕국의 셋째 치리자로 삼으리라, 하니라.

And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. 

17. 그때에 다니엘이 왕 앞에서 응답하여 이르되, 왕의 선물은 왕이 가지시며 왕의 보상은 다른 사람에게 주옵소서. 그러나 내가 왕을 위하여 그 글을 읽고 그 해석을 왕에게 알려 드리리이다.

Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. 

18. 오 왕이여, 지극히 높으신 [하나님]께서 왕의 아버지 느부갓네살에게 왕국과 위엄과 영광과 존귀를 주셨나이다.

O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

19. 그분께서 그에게 주신 위엄으로 인하여 모든 백성들과 민족들과 언어들이 그 앞에서 떨고 두려워하였나이다. 그가 자기가 원하는 자를 죽이고 자기가 원하는 자를 살리며 자기가 원하는 자를 세우고 자기가 원하는 자를 낮추었으나

And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.

20. 그의 마음이 높아지며 그의 생각이 교만 속에서 강퍅하게 되므로 그가 자기 왕좌에서 쫓겨나고 그들이 그에게서 그의 영광을 빼앗으매

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: 

21. 그가 사람들의 아들들에게서 쫓겨나 그의 마음이 짐승들의 마음과 같이 되고 또 그의 거처가 들나귀들과 함께하며 또 그들이 소처럼 그에게 풀을 먹이매 그의 몸이 하늘의 이슬에 젖었고 마침내 그가 지극히 높으신 [하나님]께서 사람들의 왕국에서 다스리시며 자신의 뜻대로 누구든지 세우사 그것을 다스리게 하시는 줄을 알게 되었나이다.

And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and [that] he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. 

22. 오 벨사살이여, 왕은 그의 아들로서 이 모든 것을 알면서도 지금까지 마음을 낮추지 아니하고

And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;

23. 도리어 자기를 높여 하늘의 [주]를 대적하며 그들이 그분의 집의 그릇들을 왕 앞으로 가져오매 왕과 왕의 영주들과 아내들과 첩들이 그것들로 포도주를 마시고 은과 금과 놋과 쇠와 나무와 돌로 된 신들 곧 보지도 못하고 듣지도 못하고 알지도 못하는 신들을 찬양하며 또 [하나님] 즉 손에 왕의 호흡을 쥐고 계시며 자신의 길을 왕의 모든 길로 삼으시는 분께는 영광을 돌리지 아니하였나이다.

But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath [is], and whose [are] all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

24. 그러므로 그분께서 손의 일부를 보내사 이 글을 기록하게 하셨나이다.

Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.

25. 기록된 글은 이것이니 곧 메네 메네 데겔 우바르신이니이다.

And this [is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

26. 그것의 해석은 이러하니 메네는 [하나님]께서 왕의 왕국을 세셔서 그것을 끝내셨다는 것이요,

This [is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

27. 데겔은 왕을 저울에 다니 부족함이 있다는 것이며

TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

28. 베레스는 왕의 왕국이 나뉘어서 메대 사람들과 페르시아 사람들에게 주어졌다는 것이니이다, 하니

PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

29. 이에 벨사살이 명령하매 그들이 다니엘에게 주홍색 옷을 입히고 금 목걸이를 그의 목에 걸어 주며 그에 관해 포고를 내려 그가 왕국의 셋째 치리자임을 알리니라.

Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and [put] a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

30. 그 날 밤에 갈대아 사람들의 왕 벨사살이 죽임을 당하고

In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.

31. 메대 사람 다리오가 그 왕국을 취하였는데 그때에 그는 육십이 세가량이었더라.

And Darius the Median took the kingdom, [being] about threescore and two years old.
