The music of Born This Way stems from the synthpop and dance-pop oriented styles of her previous albums, yet it incorporates different forms of instrumentation which have not been used on her previous releases; electronic rock and techno are examples. It also includes a broader range of various musical genres, such as opera, heavy metal, disco, house and rock and roll while its lyrical topics include sexuality, religion, freedom, feminism, and individualism.

Love of My Life
Queen
Love of My Life is a ballad by the English rock band, Queen, from their 1975 album, A Night at the Opera. It was written by Freddie Mercury. He wrote it on the piano and guitar first, and then Brian May rearranged the song for acoustic 12-string guitar to facilitate live performance.
Freddie Mercury was born on Sep.5, 1946 in Tanzania. He studied piano in boarding school in India and befriended numerous musicians at London’s Ealing College of Art.
The music of Mercury’s band, Queen reached the top of the U.S and British charts. However, sad to say, Mercury died of AIDS-related bronchial pneumonia on Nov.24, 1991 at age 45.
As the frontman of Queen, he was one of the most talented and innovative singers of the rock era. In addition to his talents as a singer and songwriter, he was also skilled showman. He knew how to entertain audiences and how to connect with them. For example, he liked to wear costumes − often featuring skintight spandex − and strutted around the stage, encouraging fans. Queen’s popularity continued to soar in the late 70s and early 80s. We Are the Champions (1978) became a Top 10 hit in the United States and in Britain.
As a performer, he was a flamboyant stage person and powerful vocal over a four- octave range. Posthumously, in 1992 he was awarded A Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Aside from this award, there are some awards like this:
. 2001 (Rock Roll Hall of Fame)
. 2004 (the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame)
. 2002 (The band received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.)
. 2005 (He was voted the best male singer of all time.)
. 2009 (He was elected the best rock singer of all time.), etc.
Freddie Mercury has been voted one of the greatest singers in the history
of popular music.
