As the #EducationWorldForum meets in London, our latest episode - Power in knowledge: how girls’ education helps communities thrive - highlights the transformative power of education! We focus on how girls can contribute, through courage and determination, towards their own education, but also to the betterment of their communities. Host Christine Wilson is joined by Wadi Ben-Hirki, a Nigerian activist who has spent nearly a decade advocating for girls #equity in education. Christine is also joined by 'Diana'. She is an EDGE trainer working under a pseudonym in Myanmar, who was inspired by her mother to pursue a career in education. Altogether, they discuss:

the power of education to reshape not only individual lives, but entire societies

how 'Diana' teaches English, life skills and digital literacy to girls through the EDGE programme in Myanmar

how she helps girls rebuild confidence and resilience in the face of conflict and multiple crises.
