The definition of health is not only a state of no disease or damage in the body but also refers to the complete physical, psychological,and social state.
ㅡ Health management: First, health management in daily life, Second, health management in the growth development stage,
Third, health management by treating diseases.
In daily life, health management is possible by eating, excreting, breathing, sleeping, working, resting, and exercising healthily.
ㅡ Health improvement necessities: Basic medical evaluations, health depends on individuals living habits(exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits).
ㅡ Efforts of exercise:*Muscle function improves *Blood circulation improves *Fatigue recovers quickly *Mobilizing and using capability of lipid growth *Immunity level becomes higher * Heart-lung function improve
*Action becomes faster by developing exercise nervous.
Taekwondo and health
ㅡ Taekwondo poomsae training and health: Moving forward, right and left for Taekwondo poomsae training during action of makgi,chagi,jireugi, and chirgi, People should move continuously thus providing persistent stimulus in the upper and lower part of the body.
Taekwondo is helpful to the health because this persistent stimulus expands the muscle size,improves heart function, and improves exercising capacity.
ㅡ Taekwondo Gyeorugi and health:
Taekwondo athletes needs instant fast action and steady muscle and heart-lung endurance.
During Gyeorugi, exercise intensity is 80%~90%of exercising intensity and it is enough to improve heart-lung function.
ㅡ Taekwondo and mental health:
Taekwondo training improves self-esteem, emotion and has a positive influence on living attitude, and contributes to emotional stability relieving stress, physical, linguistic aggression, excitability, and negativity.
