Before we celebrate Christmas, we must know few facts

Dear friends, after 16 days we are going to celebrate Christmas. The birthday of our Lord Jesus. But before we celebrate Christmas. Every believer must know few facts or the answer of those questions. If any one call himself Christian & don’t know the answer of those questions, he or she don’t have right to call Christian or follower of Christ. Christmas mean Mass for Christ. If Mass of 25th. December is for Christ, then what about other Masses. That’s a separate issue. Today, I want draw your attention towards few facts or questions with answers. Please, Read, listen and memories.

1. Who, is Jesus?

Brothers & sisters, Jesus is from the beginning. 2024 years ago Jesus born in flesh to give us new life, to give us freedom from our sins & give us new authority. In Jesus we are brand new human.

Isaiah 9 : 6

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders.

And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Revelation 1 : 8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God,

“who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

2. Why, Jesus came on this earth?

Dear friends, 2ndly,we’ve to know that Jesus came on this earth 2024 years to give us salvation from our sins. We born in sins and there was no one who give us salvation from our inherited sin.

Psalms 51 : 5 ~~ Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Romans 6 : 23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3 : 16

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

3. What, are the teachings of Jesus?

3rdly,we’ve to know the teaching of Jesus. Friends, Jesus’s whole earthly ministry based on three major things. Teaching, Preaching and healing. Matthew chapter 5 to 7. We can see the teaching of Jesus. If we squeeze the whole teaching of Jesus. We can see love and forgiveness. Jesus love us and requested to God the Father to forgive our sins. Do we love and forgive others?

Matthew 22 : 37 ~ 39

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul & with all your mind.’ This is the first & greatest commandment. And the 2nd is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Matthew 18 : 21 ~ 22

Then Peter came to Jesus & asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to 7 times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not 7 times, but seventy-seven times.

4. How, Jesus spend His life on earth?

Jesus spend His whole earthly life very righteously. His all deeds & teachings on earth are example for us to live perfect & happy life on earth & in heaven. Jesus always fulfill Father’s will.

Luke 22 : 42 ~ “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but yours be done.”

Matthew 4 : 23

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the

Good News of the kingdom, & healing every disease & sickness among the people.

1st. Peter 3 : 18

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to

bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

5. Why, and how, Jesus died?

Jesus suffered and crucified at the cross on our behalf. Jesus was totally innocent but He suffered at the cross because of our sins. Through Jesus we can have fellowship with God the Father. Which was broken because of Adam. Science, technology or any religion can’t relate us with God. Only Jesus can, friends, just come to Jesus. ( John 14 : 6) He is the only way to God the Father.

John 19 : 17 ~ 18

Carrying His own cross, He went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified Him & with Him two others one on each side & Jesus in the middle.

1st. Peter 2 : 24

“He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die

to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.”

6. Was, Jesus risen from deads?

Friends, People are doubted about the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus by Himself prophecy about His crucifixion and death at the cross and His resurrection. Many people testified His resurrection.

1st Corinthians 15 : 3 ~ 4

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the 3rd. day according to the Scriptures,

7. Where is Jesus now, what He is doing, will He come back & why?

Jesus risen to heaven & sitting on the right hand of God the Father & praying for His followers. Nobody knows when He’ll come back but one thing we’ve to be sure that He’ll come back to take us home.

John 14 : 2 ~ 3

My Father’s house has many rooms if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.

Romans 8 : 34

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died more than that,

who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

8. Jesus made us new & gave us new authority.

Jesus made us new with blood which flowed on Calvary and in Jesus we can call God the Father.

2nd. Corinthians 5 : 17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Galatians 4 : 6

Because you are His sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”

Matthew 6 : 9 ~ This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name,

Conclusion :-

Brothers and sisters, We don’t have to Christian by name but we’ve be Christian by deeds. Christ mean anointed one & Jesus is the name given by God. “Jesus“ the one who saved His people.

Matthew 1 : 21

She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the

name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”

크리스마스를 축하하기 전에 몇 가지 사실을 알아야 합니다

16일 후에 우리 주 예수님의 탄생일인 크리스마스를 축하할 것입니다. 하지만 크리스마스를 축하하기 전에 모든 신자들은 몇 가지 사실 즉 아래 질문의 답을 알아야 합니다. 누군가 자신을 크리스천이라 하면서 이 질문의 답을 모른다면 자신을 크리스천 혹은 그리스도를 따르는 자라고 부를 권리가 없습니다.

크리스마스는 그리스도를 위한 예배를 의미합니다. 12월 25일의 예배가 그리스도를 위한 예배라면 다른 예배는 어떻습니까? 그것은 별개의 문제입니다. 오늘, 저는 몇 가지 사실 즉 답과 함께 질문으로 여러분의 관심을 끌고자 합니다. 읽고, 듣고, 기억하십시오.

1. 예수는 누구신가?

형제자매 여러분, 예수님은 태초부터 계셨습니다. 2024년 전 예수님은 우리에게 새 생명을 주시고 죄로부터 자유를 주시고 새로운 권세를 주시려고 육신으로 태어나셨습니다.

예수 안에서 우리는 새로운 사람이 되었습니다.

이사야 9 : 6

이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 그의 어깨에는 정사를 메었고

그의 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것이라.

요한계시록 1 : 8

주 하나님이 이르시되 나는 알파와 오메가라 이제도 있고 전에도 있었고 장차 올 자요 전능한 자라 하시더라.

2. 왜 예수님은 이 땅에 오셨나?

두 번째, 예수께서 우리를 죄로부터 구원하시려고 2024년 전에 이 땅에 오셨음을 알아야

합니다. 우리는 죄 중에 태어났고 물려받은 죄로부터 우리를 구원할 사람은 아무도 없습니다.

시편 51 : 5 ~~ 내가 죄악 중에 출생하였음이여 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다.

로마서 6 : 23 ~ 죄의 삯은 사망이요 하나님의 은사는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 영생이니라.

요한복음 3 : 16

하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는

그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

3. 예수의 가르침은 무엇인가?

세 번째, 우리는 예수의 가르침을 알아야 합니다. 예수의 모든 지상 사역은 중요한 세 가지에 기초합니다. 가르치고 전하고 치유하는 것입니다. 마태복음 5장-7장에서 우리는 예수의 가르침을 알 수 있습니다. 예수의 모든 가르침을 쥐어짠다면 사랑과 용서임을 알 수 있습니다. 예수님은 우리를 사랑하셔서 하나님 아버지께 우리 죄를 용서하실 것을 요청하셨습니다. 우리는 다른 사람을 사랑하고 용서합니까?

마태복음 22 : 37 ~ 39

예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 둘째도 이와 같으니 네 이웃을 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니.

마태복음 18 : 21 ~ 22

그 때에 베드로가 나아와 이르되 주여 형제가 내게 죄를 범하면 몇 번이나 용서하여 주리이까 일곱 번까지 하오리이까 예수께서 이르시되 네게 이르노니 일곱 번뿐 아니라 일곱 번을 일흔번까지라도 할지니라

4. 예수님은 지상에서 그분의 삶을 어떻게 보내셨나?

예수님은 지상에서의 온 삶을 매우 의롭게 보내셨습니다. 지상에서의 그분의 모든 행위와 가르침은 우리가 이 땅과 하늘에서 온전하고 행복하게 살기 위한 본보기가 됩니다.

예수님은 언제나 아버지의 뜻을 행하셨습니다.

누가복음 22 : 42

이르시되 아버지여 만일 아버지의 뜻이거든 이 잔을 내게서 옮기시옵소서

그러나 내 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시니.

마태복음 4 : 23

예수께서 온 갈릴리에 두루 다니사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 백성 중의 모든 병과 약한 것을 고치시니.

베드로전서 3 : 18

그리스도께서도 단번에 죄를 위하여 죽으사 의인으로서 불의한 자를 대신하셨으니 이는 우리를

하나님 앞으로 인도하려 하심이라 육체로는 죽임을 당하시고 영으로는 살리심을 받으셨으니.

5. 예수님은 왜, 그리고 어떻게 죽으셨나?

예수님은 우리 때문에 고통당하시고 십자가에서 죽으셨습니다. 예수님은 전혀 죄가 없으시지만 우리 죄 때문에 십자가에서 고통당하셨습니다. 아담으로 인해 깨어진 하나님 아버지와의 교제를 우리는 예수를 통해 할 수 있습니다. 과학이나 기술, 어떤 종교로도 하나님과 관계를 맺을 수 없습니다.

오직 예수만이 할 수 있습니다. 예수께 나아오십시오. (요한복음 14 : 6)

그분이 하나님 아버지께로 가는 유일한 길입니다.

요한복음 19 : 17 ~ 18

그들이 예수를 맡으매 예수께서 자기의 십자가를 지시고 해골(히브리말로 골고다)이라 하는 곳에 나가시니 그들이 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박을새 다른 두 사람도 그와 함께 좌우편에 못 박으니 예수는 가운데 있더라.

베드로전서 2 : 24 ~ 친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여 죽고

의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 너희는 나음을 얻었나니.

6. 예수는 죽음에서 살아나셨나?

사람들은 예수의 부활을 의심했습니다. 예수님은 직접 그분의 십자가 못박힘과

십자가에서의 죽음과 부활을 예언하셨습니다. 많은 사람들이 그분의 부활을 증언했습니다.

고린도전서 15 : 3 ~ 4

내가 받은 것을 먼저 너희에게 전하였노니 이는 성경대로 그리스도께서 우리

죄를 위하여 죽으시고 장사 지낸바 되셨다가 성경대로 사흘 만에 다시 살아나사.

7. 예수님은 지금 어디에 계시며 무엇을 하시며 왜 다시 오실까?

예수님은 하늘로 올라가시고 하나님 아버지 우편에 앉으셔서 그분을 따르는 자들을 위해 기도하십니다. 그분이 언제 다시 오실지 아무도 모르지만 확실한 것은 우리를 집으로 데리고 가시려고 다시 오실 것입니다.

요한복음 14 : 2 ~ 3

내 아버지 집에 거할 곳이 많도다 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 일렀으리라 내가 너희를 위하여

거처를 예비하러 가노니 가서 너희를 위하여 거처를 에비하면 내가 다시 와서

너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라.

로마서 8 : 34 ~~ 누가 정죄하리요 죽으실 뿐 아니라 다시 살아나신 이는 그리스도 예수시니

그는 하나님 우편에 계신 자요 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 자시니라.

8. 예수님은 우리를 새롭게 하셨고 새로운 권세를 주셨습니다.

예수님은 갈보리에서 흘리신 피로 우리를 새롭게 하셔서 예수 안에서 우리는 하나님을 아버지라 부를 수 있습니다.

고린도후서 5 : 17

그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다

갈라디아서 4 : 6

너희가 아들이므로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아빠 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라

마태복음 6 : 9 ~ 그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며

결론 :-

형제자매 여러분, 우리는 이름뿐인 크리스천이 아니라 행위로 크리스천이 되어야 합니다. 그리스도는 기름부음을 받은 자란 뜻이고 예수는 자기 백성을 구원할 자로 하나님께서 주신 이름입니다.

마태복음 1 : 21

아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라
