1. rise - rose - risen(떠오르다, 일나다): 자동사. 목적어(명사 역할을 하는 것)가 이어지지 않는다.

   arise - arose - arisen(발생하다): 자동사. 목적어가 이어지지 않는다.

   raise - raised -raised(들어올리다, 키우다): 타동사. 목적어가 이어진다.

2. lie - lied - lied(거짓말하다): 자동사

   lie - lay - lain(누워 있다, 놓여 있다): 자동사

   lay - laid - laid(놓다): 타동사

3. sit - sat - sat(앉아 있다): 자동사

   seat - seated - seated(앉히다): 타동사

   set - set - set(놓다, 설치하다): 타동사

4. find - found - found(발견하다): 타동사

   found - founded - founded(설립하다): 타동사
