Saturday, Jun 11, 2011 Editor's Note: This is one of the many 'fruits' of the capitalist system. Some might respond by saying that this has nothing to do with capitalism or at most, an aberration within the capitalist system. We reject such views. We say it ultimately "capitalism" - a system that places profits above all other considerations - even the value of children. In such a system, there can be no justice. These judges should be sentenced to do their time at Graterford Prison near Philadelphia where some of Pennsylvania's toughest convicts would love to be double-bunked with these antisocial reprobates - instead of putting them in Pennsylvania's "Country Club", Allenwood, a prison tailor-made for white collar criminals. But we should not be misled to think that these judges are just "a few bad apples" in the U.S. Justice system that has institutionalized corruption, injustice and inhumanity. - Les Blough, Editor |
