Keep it on, do not give up

Today, is the 2nd. Sunday of the year 2025. The plans or slogans what we made for year 2025. Keep it on, don’t give up. In the beginning everything look difficult but as the time pass, difficulties turn into solutions. If you remember last Sunday, I told you slogans for year 2025. ❶ Make a habit to pray, meditation & keep promise. ❷ Live today and focus tomorrow. ❸ Put off and put on. ❹ Close the doors and open the doors. ❺ Do first things first. Friends, today in the scripture, we can a see a story of a paralyzed person and his four friends or familiar persons. Those four people never gave up and their consistency & love for the paralyzed person brought miracle in the life of paralyzed person.

Brothers & sisters, do you want to see miracle in your lives, in your families. Keep it on, don’t give up

Dear brothers and sisters, let’s jump into the scripture and see a lesson for you and me.

1. Keep it on, don’t give up.

Friends, it is universal truth that Jesus is always followed by numberless people. 2025 years ago when Jesus was teaching in the house. Those four people did their best to reach Jesus with a paralytic person but there was no way. Those four people never gave up. They keep it on & found a way to reach Jesus the healer. Those four men took paralytic and lowered down from the roof of house.

Mark 2 : 3 ~ 4

Some men came, bringing to Him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get

him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus

by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.

Those men never gave up. They seek a way to reach Jesus for the healing of paralytic person.

It was easy to say, today is big crowd. Let’s come some other day. Four men did their job. Now it is the luck of paralytic person. It was impossible to reach Jesus but four men never gave up. Brothers & sisters, those men taught us a wonderful lesson. Whatever circumstances, “Keep it on, don’t give up.”

If four men gave up. The paralytic person never received healing and forgiveness of his sins.

Galatians 6 : 9 ~ 10

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,

especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Luke 18 : 1

Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray & not give up.

2. Jesus saw their faith.

2nd. thing what we can learn in this scripture is that Jesus saw the faith of those four people who brought paralytic to Jesus. Jesus didn’t saw or ask that paralytic that he has faith in Him (Jesus) or not?

Mark 2 : 5 (Interceding Pray)

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Normally, Jesus saw the faith of the people who want healing or solution of their troubles but in this case Jesus didn’t ask about the faith of paralytic. Jesus saw the faith of those who brought him. Friends, those four people who brought paralytic person to Jesus taught us a lesson of faith. 4 people brought that paralytic person to Jesus with the faith of healing. They reached Jesus & never gave up.

Luke 8 : 48 ~~~~~ Then He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Luke 18 : 42 ~~~~ Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”

1st. Corinthians 16 : 13 ~ Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Brothers & sisters, keep pray for your beloved ones. God answer or not don’t give up or stop prayers. One day, surely God will answer our prayers. Our God is listening, watching & He move on His exact time.

Romans 8 : 34

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died more than that,

who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Jesus is praying interceding prayer for us. Do we pray for others? If not let’s pray for others.

3. Jesus has authority.

3rd. thing what we can learn through this scripture that Jesus the Savior of whole universe has authority over everything. When Jesus forgave the sins of paralytic person. Teachers of the law start to complaining each other that “How can Jesus forgave the sins? He’s just human being. He’s blaspheming!

Mark 2 : 6 ~ 7

Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,

“Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

No one inform Jesus about that. Jesus by Himself knew in His Spirit the thoughts or contradiction of

teachers of the law. Why & what opinion they have about the Jesus? Who gave Him authority?

Mark 2 : 10 (1st. Portion)

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

Matthew 28 : 18

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

4. Paralytic person received forgiveness & healing.

Paralytic person was just seeking the healing but Jesus forgave all of his sins and healed him.

Mark 2 : 5

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Mark 2 : 11 & 1st Portion of verse 12

“I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” -

He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all.

Friends, one thing we must know that Jesus came on this to cleanse our sins through His crucifixion. Through His resurrection, we received an eternal life. Jesus is only way to God the Father. Amen

5. Let us give thanks and praise God.

In scripture people who were there, when they saw this great miracle of Jesus. Jesus who has authority over everything. Jesus forgave the sins of paralytic person & He healed paralytic. Everyone so amazed.

Mark 2 : 12 (Last Portion)

This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

Friends, not 2025 years ago people amazed & praised Lord. Today we have to praise and glorify Him Cause He is God of gods and King of kings. He is Alpha and Omega. He is beginning and the end.

Revelation 1 : 8

“I am the Alpha & the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, & who was, & who is to come, the Almighty.”

Psalms 150 : 6 ~~~~ Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Conclusion :-

Friends, today four people who brought paralyzed person to Jesus taught us wonderful lesson.

❶ Whatever circumstances, keep it on, don’t give up. ❷ Jesus not only see the faith of victim,

sometime He saw the faith of interceder. ❸ Jesus has an authority over all universe, cause He is God.

❹ Paralyzed received not only healing, he received salvation too. ❺ Praise the Lord forever and ever.

John 15 : 7

If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

포기하지 말고 계속 하라

오늘은 2025년의 두 번째 주일입니다. 2025년을 위해 세웠던 계획이나 표어를 포기하지 말고 계속하십시오. 처음에는 모든 것이 어려워 보이지만 시간이 지나면서 어려움이 해결로 바뀝니다.

지난 주일에 제가 2025년을 위한 표어를 말씀드린 것을 기억할 것입니다.

❶ 기도하고 묵상하고 약속을 지키는 습관을 만들라. ❷ 오늘을 살고 내일에 집중하라. ❸ 어버리고 입으라. ❹ 문을 닫고 문을 열어라. ❺ 먼저 할 일을 먼저 하고 나중 할 일을 나중에 하라.

오늘 본문 말씀에서 중풍병자와 네 명의 친구 즉 친한 사람들의 이야기를 볼 수 있습니다. 이 네 사람은 결코 포기하지 않았고 그들의 중풍병자에 대한 한결같은 사랑이 중풍병자의 삶에 기적을 가져왔습니다. 형제자매 여러분, 여러분의 삶에서, 가족의 삶에서 기적을 보기 원하십니까? 포기하지 말고 계속하십시오.

형제자매 여러분, 이 말씀에 뛰어들어 여러분과 저를 위한 교훈을 알아봅시다.

1. 포기하지 말고 계속 하십시오.

수많은 사람들이 항상 예수를 따랐다는 것은 누구나 다 아는 진실입니다. 2025년 전 예수께서 집에서 가르치고 계실 때 네 사람이 중풍병자를 데리고 예수께 다가가려 최선을 다했으나 방법이 없었습니다. 이 네 사람은 포기하지 않았습니다. 그들은 계속해서 치유자 예수께로 갈 방법을 찾았습니다. 네 사람은 중풍병자를 지붕으로부터 달아내렸습니다.

마가복음 2 : 3 ~ 4

사람들이 한 중풍병자를 네 사람에게 메워가지고 예수께로 올새 무리들 때문에 예수께 데려갈

수 없으므로 그 계신 곳의 지붕을 뜯어 구멍을 내고 중풍병자가 누운 상을 달아 내리니.

이 사람들은 포기하지 않았습니다. 그들은 중풍병자의 치유를 위해 예수께 다가갈 방법을 찾았습니다.

이렇게 말하기 쉽습니다. 오늘은 너무 붐비니 다른 날에 옵시다. 네 사람은 그들의 할 일을 했습니다. 이제 중풍병자의 운입니다. 예수께 다가가는 것이 불가능했지만 네 사람은 포기하지 않았습니다.

형제자매 여러분, 이 사람들은 우리에게 훌륭한 교훈을 가르쳤습니다. 어떤 상황에서든지 포기하지 말고 계속 하십시오. 네 사람이 포기했다면 그 중풍병자는 치유와 죄 사함을 받지 못했습니다.

갈라디아서 6 : 9 ~ 10

우리가 선을 행하되 낙심하지 말지니 포기하지 아니하면 때가 이르매 거두리라 그러므로

우리는 기회 있는 대로 모든 이에게 착한 일을 하되 더욱 믿음의 가정들에게 할지니라.

누가복음 18 : 1

예수께서 그들에게 항상 기도하고 낙심하지 말아야 할 것을 비유로 말씀하여

2. 예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보셨습니다.

본문 말씀에서 우리가 배울 수 있는 두 번째는 중풍병자를 예수께 데려온 네 사람의 믿음을 예수께서 보셨다는 것입니다. 예수님은 중풍병자에게 예수에 대한 믿음이 있는지 보시지 않았고 요구하지 않으셨습니다.

마가복음 2 : 5 (중보기도)

예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니.

보통 예수님은 치유나 문제의 해결을 원하는 사람의 믿음을 보셨지만 이 경우에는 중풍병자의 믿음을 요구하지 않으셨습니다. 예수님은 그를 데려온 사람들의 믿음을 보셨습니다. 중풍병자를 예수께 데려온 네 사람은 우리에게 믿음의 교훈을 가르쳤습니다. 네 사람은 치유의 믿음으로 중풍병자를 예수께 데려왔습니다. 그들은 예수께 나아왔고 결코 포기하지 않았습니다.

누가복음 8 : 48 ~~~~~~ 예수께서 이르시되 딸아 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라 하시더라

누가복음 18 : 42 ~~~~~ 예수께서 그에게 이르시되 보라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시매

고린도전서 16 : 13 ~~~~ 깨어 믿음에 굳게 서서 남자답게 강건하라

형제자매 여러분, 사랑하는 사람을 위해 계속 기도하십시오. 하나님께서 응답하시든 아니든 포기하지 말고 기도를 멈추지 마십시오. 어느 날 하나님께서 우리 기도에 응답하실 것입니다. 우리 하나님은 들으시고 바라보시며 그분의 정확한 때에 행하십니다.

로마서 8 : 34

주가 정죄하리요 죽으실 뿐 아니라 다시 살아나신 이는 그리스도 예수시니

그는 하나님 우편에 계신 자요 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 자시니라.

예수님은 우리를 위해 중보 기도하십니다. 우리는 다른 사람을

위해 기도합니까? 아니라면 다른 사람을 위해 기도합시다.

3. 예수께 권세가 있습니다.

본문 말씀을 통해 우리가 배울 수 있는 세 번째는 만물의 구세주 예수님은 모든 권세를 가지셨다는 것입니다. 예수님이 중풍병자의 죄를 사하셨을 때 서기관들은 서로 불평하기 시작했습니다.

“예수가 어떻게 죄를 사할 수 있는가? 그는 단지 인간인데 신성모독이다.”

마가복음 2 : 6 ~ 7

어떤 서기관들이 거기 앉아서 마음에 생각하기를 이 사람이 어찌 이렇게 말하는자

신성모독이로다 오직 하나님 한 분 외에는 누가 능히 죄를 사하겠느냐

아무도 이것을 예수께 알리지 않았습니다. 서기관들의 생각과 반박을 예수님은 그분의 영으로 몸소

아셨습니다. 그들이 예수에 대해 가진 생각은 무엇이고 왜 일까요? 누가 그분께 권세를 주셨을까요?

마가복음 2 : 10 (전반) ~~~ 그러나 인자가 땅에서 죄를 사하는 권세가 있는 줄을 너희로 알게 하려 하노라.

마태복음 28 : 18 ~~~ 예수께서 나아와 말씀하여 이르시되 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 내게 주셨으니.

4. 중풍병자는 죄 사함과 치유를 받았습니다.

중풍병자는 단지 치유를 구했으나 예수님은 그의 모든 죄를 사하셨고 그를 치유하셨습니다.

마가복음 2 : 5

예수께서 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 이르시되 작은 자야 네 죄 사함을 받았느니라 하시니.

마가복음 2 : 11, 12 (전반)

내가 네게 이르노니 일어나 네 상을 가지고 집으로 가라 하시니

그가 일어나 곧 상을 가지고 모든 사람 앞에서 나가거늘

우리가 알아야 할 한 가지는 예수님은 그분의 십자가 희생을 통해 우리 죄를 씻기기 위해

이 땅에 오셨다는 것입니다. 그분의 부활을 통해 우리는 영생을 얻었습니다.

예수님은 하나님 아버지께로 가는 유일한 길입니다. 아멘.

5. 감사하며 하나님을 찬양합시다.

본문 말씀에서 거기에 있던 사람들이 모든 것을 다스리는 권세를 가진 예수님이 중풍병자의 죄를 사하시고 중풍병을 치유하신 대단한 기적을 보았을 때 모든 사람들은 너무 놀랐습니다.

마가복음 2 : 12 (후반)

그들이 다 놀라 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 이르되 우리가 이런 일을 도무지 보지 못하였다 하더라

2025년 전에 사람들이 놀라고 주님을 찬양한 것만 아니라 오늘 우리도 그분을 찬양하고 영화롭게 해야 합니다. 그분은 신들 중의 하나님이시며 왕 중의 왕이기 때문입니다. 그분은 알파와 오메가이며 그분은 처음이자 끝입니다.

요한계시록 1 : 8

주 하나님이 이르시되 나는 알파와 오메가라 이제도 있고 전에도 있었고 장차 올 자요 전능한 자라 하시더라.

시편 150 : 6 ~~~~ 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할지어다 할렐루야

결론 :-

                  오늘, 중풍병자를 예수께 데려간 네 사람은 우리에게 훌륭한 교훈을 가르칩니다.

❶ 어떤 상황에서든지 포기하지 말고 계속 하십시오.

❷ 예수님은 당한 사람의 믿음을 보실 뿐 아니라 때로는 중보자의 믿음을 보십니다.

❸ 예수님께 만물을 다스리는 권세가 있습니다. 그분은 하나님이기 때문입니다.

❹ 중풍병자는 치유뿐 아니라 구원도 받았습니다.

❺ 영원히 주님을 찬양하십시오.

요한복음 15 : 7

너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라.
