Isn’t it funny [how children will remember anything () we promise them]?

We might forget, but they certainly won’t!

God Almighty has never forgotten [us or His promises to us].

Still, He loves it /when we remind Him /of them!

When we release control /of whatever we’re facing and remind the Lord /of His promises,

it forces [us] [to remember that we don’t have to fight /alone]—God has already won!

* 가주어 it = 진주어 [how children will remember anything (that) we promise them]

* remember의 목적인 명사구 anything (that) we promise [them] [직목],  명+형절/목적격 관대절 (선행사=관계사=직목)

* 부역 전구  /of them 그것들에 관하여,  * 대명사 them = promises

* 형역 전구  /of whatever we’re facing and remind the Lord /of His promises,  전치사+전목인 의문사절 (control 수식)

* 부역 전구 /of His promises,  약속들에 관하여, 

* 5 형식 forces [us] [to remember that we don’t have to fight /alone]  목적이 목보하게 동사하다

* 문장 형식이 중요한 이유는 문장 형식에 의거하여 쓴 작가의 글을 올바로 이해하는데 절대적으로 필요한 때문임

* 주의 ;  that절과 의문사절의 차이점

that절은 완전문  that we don’t have to fight /alone (that는 접속사 역할만 하고 종절에서의 역할은 없는 허사임)

의문사절은 불완전문 whatever we’re facing [목적],  (접속사인 의문사는 목적을 대신하는 대명사라 목적이 생략됨)
