돌담고사리(바위좀고사리) Asplenium anogrammoides Christ

이 종은 Quelpaert(제주도)에서 1906년 9월25일 채집한 개체를 1908년 'Christ'에 의해 신종으로 발표되었다. 특히 제주도와 남부지역 등에서 발견되지만 그래도 서울에서 발견되는 개체가 더욱 정감이 간다. 국명은 '국가생물종지식정보시스템'에서는 돌담고사리, '한반도의 생물다양성'에서는 바위좀고사리라 부르고 있네요.

학명관계 및 최근논문 소개

최근까지 국내의 돌담고사리의 학명은 Asplenium sarelii Hook. 1862 를 사용하였다. 그런데 2019 발표된 논문에 의하면 A. sarelii 는 2배체로 중국에 분포하며, 한국 및 일본에서 A. sarelii 로 알려졌던 개체는 4배체로, 4배체는 제주도를 기준표본지로 신종발표한 'Asplenium anogrammoides Christ'으로 보는 것 같다. 국내에 자생하는 모든 돌담고사리에 대한 염색체 및 DNA 등 검사가 필요하겠지만 현재까지는 국내에 자생하는 개체는 4배체인 것으로 보여짐으로 돌담고사리 학명은 Asplenium anogrammoides Christ 를 적용하는 것이 타당할 것 같다.

Asplenium sarelii is endemic to C China. All reports of this species from outside China are erroneous and usually refer to the very similar tetraploid A. anogrammoides.
