Seals and Crofts 

둘은 텍사스 에서 

크로프츠( Crofts) 는 1938년 시스코 에서,

실스( Seals)는 1942년 시드니에서 태어났다.

1969년 캘리포니아 주 로스앤젤레스 에서

Jim Seals 와 Dash Crofts가 

결성한 미국의 소프트 록 듀오 이다.

그들은 히트곡 "Summer Breeze"(1972),

"Diamond Girl "(1973),

" Get Closer "(1976)로

가장 잘 알려져 있으며,

각 곡은 Billboard Hot 100 차트에서 6위를 차지했다.

Seals와 Crofts는 모두 바하의 신앙을

공개적으로 옹호했다.

이 듀오는 1981년에 해체되었지만

1989년부터 1992년까지 잠시 재결합했고,

2004년에 마지막 앨범 " Traces" 를 발매하면서

다시 재결합했다.

 Seals와 그의 동생이자 차트 1위를 차지한

싱어송라이터 "England" Dan Seals 는

나중에 Seals & Seals라는

이름으로 함께 공연했다.
