Is Mary Perpetual Virgin?

First of all, Mary was a virgin when she was pregnant with Jesus, I don’t deny the Virgin Birth of Jesus by Mary.

However, after delivering the child Jesus, she returned to the normal life of the wife of Joseph and she had 4 sons and 2 daughters at least, in addition to Jesus.

However, Roman Catholic claim that Mary remained as a virgin without having the marital life with Joseph.

RCC claims and insist that Matthew, Mark Luke 3 Gospel writers never mentioned Mary on the most important scenes in the history which were the Crucifixion of Jesus and the Resurrection of Jesus!

Matthew 13

55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

Mt 27

56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.

In ch 13, James and Jose were the brothers ( Adelphoi ) of Jesus. The same names are the sons of Mary in ch 27. Are they not the same brothers in both chapters, and in ch 27, they are the sons of Mary, aren’t they?

Mark 3

31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. 32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. 33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? 34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Why was Mary accompanying the brothers of Jesus all the time? Isn’t it because they are the sons of Mary?

Mark 6

3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

Also, Mark report that Jesus is the brother of James, Joses, Juda, Simon!

Mark 15

40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

Mk 16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Luke 24
10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

John 7

3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

If His brothers are not the real brothers, could their unbelief be a matter?

John was saying < even His own brothers didn’t believe Him> which was an emphasis.

Acts 1

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

1 Cor 9

5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Gal 1

19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

RCC excuses that Mary the mother of James and Jose is not the Mary the mother of Jesus but another Mary like the Mary the wife of Cleophas.

John 19

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

His mother Mary, her sister, Mary wife of Cleophas, Mary Magdalene are mentioned on the scene of Cross.

Mary’s sister is mentioned and therefore Mary wife of Cleophas was not the sister of Mary, because, if Mary Cleophas was another sister of Mary, then it must have been mentioned there.

Moreover, if the Mary, wife of Cleophas were another sister to Mary the mother of Jesus, then Mary’s parents should have 2 daughters with the same name of Mary and should have called them Mary #1, Mary #2, which can happen in no family in the world.

Therefore the relationship between the Mary the mother of Jesus and Mary the wife of Cleophas are not the sisters!

Now we must return to Mt 27:56, Mary mother of James and Jose.

If Mary the mother of James, Jose, Juda, Simon was the wife of Cleophas, then James, Jose, Juda, Simon must be the sons of Cleophas, and the sisters mentioned in Mt 13:56 are the daughters of Cleophas.

(1)   Why didn’t Matthew, Mark, Luke omit Mary Mother of Jesus on the most important scene of Crucifixion while they mention Mary the wife of Cleophas, Salome, Mary Magdalene? John mentioned Mary mother of Jesus. Why Matthew, Mark, Luke didn’t mention Mary? They surely mentioned Mary, and that was Mary mother of James and Jose! James and Jose were near Mary always whenever Mary was mentioned!

(2)   If you deny that Mary Mother of James and Jose was Mary Mother of Jesus, you are insisting that Mary is unimportant to be mentioned on the most important scene of Crucifixion and another scene of Resurrection. In such case, your denial betrays your claim that Mary is the mother of God and important. You are claiming that 3 Gospel writers were disrespectful of Mary! Then we can forget about Mary as well!

(3)   Mary was there near the Cross as John mentioned, and this Mary was Mary the mother of James and Jose!, which is undeniable!

(4)   the Messianic Psalm clearly mention this: Psalm 69: 8

 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto sons of my mother

Jesus became alien to Sons of His mother Mary!

RCC denies Messianic Psalm 69, denies the importance of Mary on the most important scenes in the human history, Crucifixion and Resurrection:

According to RCC, 

Mary wasn't mentioned on the most important scene in human history unless Mary is the mother of James and Jose. What's the excuse for the perpetual Virginity of Mary while we read Mary, the mother of James and Jose, in Mt 27:56, Mk 15:40, 47, Lk 24:10? and they are mentioned in Mt 13:55 as the brothers of Jesus? Why did Mt, Mk, Lk didn't mention Mary on the most important scene in the human history?

Perpetual Virgin Mary theory betrays RCC and makes them disrespectful of Mary! By ignoring her on the most important scenes in the human history, Crucifixion and Resurrection !
