Bible Reading - Luke 4:12~22

4:12 Jesus answered, "It says: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

예수께서 "성경이 말하기를, 주 너의 하나님을 시험하지 말라."고 대답하셨다.

4:13 When the devil had finished all this tempting, 그 마귀가 모든 시험하는 것을 끝마쳤을 때,

he left him until an opportune time. 그(마귀)는 적절한 시기가 되기까지 그를 떠났다.

4:14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, 

예수께서 성령의 능력으로 갈릴리로 돌아가셨고

and news about him spread through the whole countryside.

그에 대한 소식이 온 나라에 두루 퍼졌다.

4:15 He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.

그는 회당에서 가르치셨고 모든 사람들은 그를 칭송했다.

4:16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up,

그는 자라났던 나사렛으로 가셔서 

and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. 

그의 관습에 따라 안식일에 회당 안으로 들어가셨다.

And he stood up to read. 그리고 그는 (성경을) 읽으려고 일어서셨다.

4:17 The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. 

그는 선지자 이사야의 두루마리를 넘겨받았다.

Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:그것을 펴서 그는 기록되어진 곳을 찾았다.

4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, 주의 성령이 내 위에 임하셨다.

because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. 

왜냐하면 그가 가난한 자들에게 좋은 소식을 선포하도록 나에게 기름을 부으셨기 때문이다. 

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners

그는 죄수들을 위해 자유를 선포하도록 나를 보내셨고

and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,

눈 먼 자들을 위해 시력의 회복을 압제 받는 자들을 놓아주도록 

4:19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."주님의 은혜의 해를 선포하도록 

4:20 Then he rolled up the scroll, 그리고 그는 그 두루마리를 말아올렸고

gave it back to the attendant and sat down. 그것을 시종에게 돌려 주고 앉았다.

The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him,

회당에 있는 모든 사람의 눈이 그의 위에 집중되었다.

4:21 and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

그리고 그는 그들에게 말하기 시작했다." 오늘날, 이 성경이 너희가 듣는데서 성취되었다."

4:22 All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. 

모두들 그를 칭찬했고, 그의 입에서 나오는 은혜로운 말에 감탄했다.

"Isn't this Joseph's son?" they asked. "이 사람의 요셉의 아들이 아닌가?"하고 그들이 물었다.
