프로그램 소개

이 과정은 친숙한 과학적인 방법과 실험적인 기술 그리고 연구장비들을 통해 생활과학의 리써치 기술자로써 일할수 있도록 도와 줍니다. 리써치를 위한 효과적, 정밀적 그리고 필수적인 정확함을 통한 분석을 위해  이론적 실용적인 훈련을 하게 될것입니다. the co-operative education mode (BTRC) 나 the non co-operative education mode (BTR) 를 선택 할수 있으며 Non co-op

학생들은 정규 교육 과정을 하게 될것이며, Co-op 학생들은 4학기 이후 첫번째 일하는 학기의 기간에 따라 교욱을 하게 될것입니다.

이 과정은 Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities 에서 만든 시스템 적으로 표준화 된 과정입니다. 졸업 자 들은 다음과 같은 증명된 것들을 얻을 것입니다.

Apply chemical, biological, and physical concepts to problem-solving and job performance in a biotechnology environment.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses and tests using appropriate laboratory procedures, and interpret the results.
Perform standard cell culture procedures under aseptic conditions, for use in quality control, research, product development, or manufacturing in a biotechnology environment.
Perform molecular biology procedures for use in quality control, research, product development, or manufacturing in a biotechnology environment.
Perform laboratory duties in compliance with law, legislation, and regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to occupational health, safety, environmental, and ethical practices.
Prepare, maintain, interpret, and communicate scientific data effectively.
Apply management practices in the biotechnology workplace.
Develop a plan for continued professional growth.
Recognize the scope, nature, and ethical implications of biotechnology and its influence on society.

입학을 위해 필요한 것들

Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a majority of senior credits at the College Preparation (C), University Preparation (U) or University/College Preparation (M) level or Mature Student Status (age 19 or older)
Grade 12 English: ENG4(C) or ENG4(U)
Grade 11 Biology (C) or (U)
Grade 12 Chemistry (C)
Grade 12 Mathematics*: MCT4(C) Mathematics for College Technology (recommended grade 60% or over) or Grade 12 (U) Mathematics, MHF4(U) (Advanced Functions) or MCV4(U) (Calculus and Vectors)

생활 과학의 리써치 기술자가 될것입니다. advanced diploma in the Biotechnology Technologist (Research) program 학위를 얻게 될것이며 대학, 병원 연구소, 정부 협회 뿐 아니라 생물학 약학 산업 개발 분야와 리써치 분야에서의 인정받는 직업을 얻게 될것입니다.
