Year 4 Residential Trip - Kuala Lumpur
On Monday 30th January 2023, Year 4 set off on their amazing adventure to Kuala Lumpur and what a great time we had! The children took part in lots of exciting activities which aimed to push them out of their comfort zone and they demonstrated fantastic independence and resilience.
After departing from SCIPS, we took the train to KL. Upon arriving in the city, our first stop was District 21 where children experienced challenges including high wires, trampolines and a free fall!
On Day 2, children visited the KLCC Aquarium where we observed different sea creatures and even got to see a scuba diver! We experienced lots of interactive exhibits in Petronsains Activity Centre. Children experienced earthquakes and the wind speed on Jupiter! The evening entertainment involved a disco and a gourmet buffet!
On our last day, after a big breakfast, we learnt about the process of making chocolate and even produced our own bar in the factory. Finally, after some team building in the Wetlands, we made our way back to Penang.
The Year 4 pupils got so much from this trip and really showed themselves to be independent, co-operative, resilient and respectful members of our SCIPS community. What a fantastic residential trip!
