<Topic 01> Harry Potter Quidditch comes real

The popular sport in Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Quidditch, has been brought to reality as muggles enjoy it, the Daily Mail reported.

While it lacks magical spark, its popularity is soaring as over 400 universities in U.S. are following the rules based on what Harry Potter novel read. That is, the players are required to straddle the broom at all times and are penalized with yellow or red wands for foul play, it said.

Ivy League constitutions such as Harvard, Princeton and Yale universities have teams and such enthusiastic support made even a Quidditch World Cup possible, it added.

‘It started off as a very silly dorm sport and now it’s evolving into this national thing.’, Alex Benepe, the Intercollegiate Quidditch Commissioner said through the interview with the Daily Mail.

Emily J Yorke, a student at Harvard, said: 'I thought it was a great idea to get involved because I loved Harry Potter and Quidditch is such an intense sport.

Bringing fantasy to real world, this might be the real magic Harry Potter used.

attend는 타동사라서 뒤에 전치사인 at을 붙이지 않음~~ 단, attend 바로 뒤에 부사가 오면 자동사로 변해서 at을 붙임. attend TD 또는 attend regularly at TD ^^
