Attack by coastal cliff-tinged sea monsters
After crossing the mountain range, the path led to the seaside. Waves crashed down the sheer cliffs, and thick clouds rising from the sea covered the coast and the mountainside.
From between the clouds rose enormous shapes.
A storm surger spread its wings and crossed the shore. Rampant winds burst from the wings, battering rocks and trees, while the long tentacles of deep-sea jellyfish stretched beneath the clouds, trying to snatch ships and cliffs. The sky squid moved by flapping its multiple arms as if pulling the air, and the cloud shark suddenly emerged from the mist.
Electric wires cut through the air.
The deep-sea eel wrapped around the cliff and the clouds, emitting a powerful current. A blue flash spread across the coastal rocks, and the radio waves continued to disperse, shaking the surrounding air. Tree roots sprouted from the crevices of the cliff to hold onto the creatures, but the blue whale charged in with its massive body, crushing both the roots and the rocks.
The waves surged high.
As a massive wave surged toward the shore, the ice sliced through and flew over it. Ice sculptures shot up into the air, raining down on the monsters, but the octopus and the black-sailed squid twisted their bodies to evade the attacks. The porcupinefish grabbed a rock with its tail and sharply changed direction, while the deep-sea lobster lifted its body by holding onto an airborne rock with its claws.
Thunder shook the coast.
The storm surger of the giant rays and the current of the deep-sea eel collided, and the sky flashed. The iron-clad tuna flashed metallic scales as it charged straight ahead, spraying toxic mist to obscure the view. When the jellyfish released the seawater it had stored, a torrent of rain poured down.
He quickly thrust his spear to push back the approaching monster and blocked the incoming attacks with his shield. The electric current spread across the shield’s surface, but he twisted his body to avoid the flow and thrust the spear again.
The long arms of a sky squid wrapped around the cliff. As it cut off the tentacles with its spear, the coral tentacloid hydra approached, spreading dozens of tentacles. Long tentacles also hung down beneath the blue whale beetle, wrapping around the rock. The black mussel monster opened its shell and spat out a black liquid, while the glassy squid ambushed, hiding its translucent body within the clouds.
The waves crashed again.
An ice storm sliced through the surface, and thunder crashed over the sea. As the giant conch monster emitted powerful sound waves from its shell, the rocks on the cliff trembled and collapsed. Jellyfish crawled across the rock surface, and the abyssal hydrothermal mass rose above the clouds in the shape of a massive mass of seawater. Inside, the eyes and tentacles writhed.
Electric waves and radio waves spread one after another. Tree roots sprouted from every corner of the cliff, trying to entwine the marine creatures, while attacks of light, ice, and waves collided, shaking the entire coastline.
Through that, a spear extended continuously. I advanced, blocking attacks from the strong wind and tentacles with my shield. Thunder roared again, and a massive wave swallowed the cliff below.
At last, the coastal monsters began to scatter. But beyond the clouds, huge shadows still remained. Seawater surged over the cliff, and the abyssal debris slowly moved to block the path
Coastal Cliffs — Assaults of Storm and Abyss
Crossing the mountain range to reach the seashore, a massive wave surged from beneath the cliff. The seawater crashed against the crevices of the rocks, and the sea mist surged up to the mountainside. Within it, gigantic sea monsters emerged one after another.
A storm surger soared, cutting through the clouds. With every flap of the wings, a gale crashed down the cliffs, and the long tentacles of deep-sea jellyfish dragged themselves downward, wrapping around rocks and ships. The sky octopus approached, pulling the air with its long arms, and the cloud shark suddenly emerged from the clouds.
Electric wires cut through the air.
A deep-sea eel stretched its body, wrapping around the cliff and releasing an electric current. The moment a blue flash spread across the rocks, the radio waves burst forth continuously. Tree roots sprouted from the crevices of the cliff to hold onto the monsters, but the blue whale charged with its massive body, breaking down the roots and rocks.
A wave crashed head-on.
Ice shards sliced through the waves as they flew. The skimmer octopus spread its eight arms and changed course with the wind, while the black-sailed squid extended the fin shield behind it to evade the attack. The echidnas lifted their bodies by gripping rocks with their tails, while the deep-sea lobster seized airborne rocks with its enormous claws.
Thunder rumbled along the coast.
As the whipworm sharks’ fierce winds swept through, the armored tuna flashed its metallic scales and charged straight ahead. He raised his shield to block the impact and pushed back the approaching monster with a spear. Soon the flamethrower pierced through the body of the ironclad tuna.
The jellyfish in the storm burst out the seawater inside its body. A torrent of rain poured down, obscuring the view, and the King Pufferfish’s toxic mist spread over it. As the direct light broke through the mist, the translucent body of the glassy squid hidden within was revealed.
I quickly thrust my spear and cut off the tentacle's attack. However, coral tentacles spread their dozens of arms as they climbed the cliff, and long tentacles also trailed beneath the blue beetle’s body, enveloping the rock. When the black mussel monster opened its shell and spat out a black liquid, it twisted its body to evade and continued its attacks with waves and ice.
The giant conch shell monster emitted sound waves from inside its shell. The cliff shook, and the rocks collapsed. As the sea leeches crawled across the rock surface, a mass of deep-sea hydrothermal fluid rose into the sky in the form of a gigantic oceanic blob. Within it, countless eyes and tentacles floated.
The electric current poured back. The radio waves swept across, and thunder roared through the sea. Tree roots tried to climb the cliff to hold onto the monsters, but a massive wave swept them away beneath their roots.
We advanced along the narrow coastal path, spear and shield in hand. Every time a wave crashed, he ducked to avoid it, and when the ice attack slipped away, he thrust his spear. As the thunder roared again, beams of light sliced across the sea, and flames of scorching heat surged toward the charging monsters.
The coastal monsters seemed to retreat, but the sea did not calm. The abyssal debris blocks the cliff in front
