[새터]

鬱陵島(울릉도)의 餘件(여건)과 恰似(흡사)하여 산을 中心(중심)해서 海變(해변)으로 民家(민가)가 있고

一週道路(일주도로)가 나 있어 하루 日過(일과)는 終日(종일)토록 一週(일주)하며 主要場所(주요장소)를 들린다.

제일 큰 하와이 빅 아일란드는 濟州道(제주도)를 聯想(연상)케 한다.

그러나 穴地 明堂(혈지 명당)은 없다. 道路(도로)도 往復 二車線(왕복 2차선)으로 좁다.

觀光客 車(관광객 차)들이 連絡不絶(연락부절)이다.

북쪽 해변은 겨울에 해당되는 12월경 파도타기 관광객으로 북적인단다.

타이거 상어가 종종 나타나 事故(사고)나기도 한다는 곳이다.

海低洞窟(해저동굴)이 있어 水泳(수영) 잘 하는 사람이 들어가 通過(통과)하는 有名地(유명지)도 있다.

中國 武俠映畵 排優(중국 무협영화 배우)인 성룡의 別莊(별장)을 지나면서는

그가 식당의 큰 사업을 벌렸다가 코로나로 망했단다.

先天 人間(선천 인간)은 强(강)한듯 하지만 아주 弱(약)하기도 하다.

보이지도 않는 細菌(세균)에 의해 死亡(사망)하거나

國家社會(국가사회)가 亡(망)하고 天災之變(천재지변)에도 束手無策(속수무책) 當(당)한다.

코로나 때에 세계 여러나라의 경제가 좋지 못했는데

지금은 트럼프 때문에 세계경기가 좋지 못해 하와이 觀光客(관광객)도 크게 줄었단다.

거북이 出沒 海邊(출몰 해변)을 지난다. 상어 體驗場(체험장)도 지나가다

이 곳은 관광객을 위한 주차장이 없다. 道路邊(도로변)을 주차장으로 許容(허용)한다.

많이 減少(감소)했다고는 해도 觀光客(관광객)이 많다는 것을 느낀다.

이 곳에 平地(평지)가 없는 것은 아니다. 北部地域(북부지역)의 할레이바이는 제법 넓은 밭이 있다.

전날 부터 파인애플 농장지대로 현재도 파인애플 아이스크림 製造(제조)로 유명한 휴게소를 여섯 번 째로 들리다.

많은 땅은 풀밭이다.

나무줄기가 여러가지 색깔을 내는 나무가 商店(상점)앞에 크게 자라났다. 레인보 트리이다.

상점에서 파인애플 아이스크림을 사서 맛보다.

일곱 번째는 메이커 상점가이다.

主客(주객)이 轉倒(전도)되어 다른 곳보다 시간을 많이 준다.

관광객을 위한 주차장은 없으나 商店街(상점가)의 주차장은 넓다.

빈 空間(공간)이 많다. 閑暇(한가)하다.

나와 妻(처)는 1시간 이상을 無聊(무료)하게 賣場(매장)밖 距離(거리)에서 時間(시간)을 보내다.

有名(유명) 메이커라며 뛰어가는 家豚(가돈),

牧牛堂主(목우당주)의 精神(정신)과는 어긋나 世類(세류)의 流行(유행)을 쫓는 바라 마음이 씁쓸하다.

父母(부모)님을 위해 돈 쓰는 것은 마음내기가 힘들텐데 브랜드 구입엔 없는 돈을 긁어서 쓴다.

거짓된 장삿속 末代 商業時代(말대 상업시대)의 現實(현실)이다.

妻(처)가 나를 만나던 소싯적에 청바지를 입었기로

청바지는 努動者(노동자) 상것들이나 입고서 아무데나 철푸덕 앉아

示威(시위)하는 옷이라 입지 말라 말했더니 바로 그 청바지를 버렸다고 했었다.

歲月無常(세월무상)이다. 어느덧 많은 날들이 흘렀다.

現在 妻(현재 처)의 이미지와는 完全(완전)히 다른데 딸은 별 수 없이 입게 그대로 둔다.

곧 天市垣時代(천시원시대)를 終結(종결)짓고 神合 道政時代(신합 도정시대)가 到來(도래)한다.

眞株灣 軍事航口(진주만 군사항구)도 지나가다.

軍事航(군사항)으로써는 最適地(최적지)이다.

좁은 水路 入口(수로 입구)에 內陸(내륙)안으로 넓어진 滿(만)이다.

葫蘆甁(호로병)속 같다. 高速道路邊(고속도로변)이다. 南北(남북)을 貫通(관통)하는 大路(대로)이다.

高速道路(고속도로)는 五(六)車線(5(6)차선)인데

反對車路(반대차로)가 많이 밀리더니 우리가 가는 車線(차선)도 그렇게 되다.

호놀룰루 都市周邊(도시주변)이다.

午後 三時境(오후 세시경)인데 退勤車(퇴근차)들이란다.

일찍 退勤(퇴근)하고 쉬려는 西洋族屬 風習(서양족속 풍습)이다.

后天 神仙文化(후천 신선문화)를 닮으려는 조짐이기도 하다.

오하후에서 가볼만한 곳 중 하나가 가장 번화가의 호놀룰루 중심부에서 바닷가로써 와이키키 해변이다.

市街地 公共地域(시가지 공공지역)에서 露出(노출)된채 男女(남녀)들이 부끄러운 줄 모르고 오간다.

제 精神(정신)을 喪失(상실)한 世態(세태)이니 별 수 없다.

오후 4시부터 自由時間(자유시간)으로 海邊(해변)을 걷다.

豫想(예상)한 것보다 날씨가 시원하여 가벼운 옷으로 活動(활동)하기 좋은 곳이다.

허니 돈이 많고 有名人事(유명인사)들이 別莊(별장)을 마련하여 지낸 緣由(연유)를 理解(이해)하게 된다.

The conditions are strikingly similar to those of Ulleungdo; homes are situated along the coast with the mountains as a backdrop, and a coastal loop road allows visitors to spend the day circling the island and stopping at key locations.

Hawaii’s largest island, the Big Island, brings Jeju Island to mind. However, it lacks the kind of auspicious sites (*myeongdang*) found in traditional geomancy. The roads are narrow, consisting of just two lanes. Tourist vehicles stream by ceaselessly. The northern coast is said to bustle with surfing tourists around December—the winter season. It is also a place where tiger sharks occasionally appear, sometimes leading to accidents.

There is a famous spot featuring an underwater cave that skilled swimmers can pass through.

Passing by the vacation home of Jackie Chan—the Chinese martial arts movie star—one learns that he launched a major restaurant business there, only for it to fail due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Humans of the *Seoncheon* (pre-transformation) era may appear strong, yet they are also incredibly fragile. They can perish from invisible bacteria, see nations and societies collapse, and stand helpless in the face of natural disasters.

Economies around the world suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, due to the situation surrounding Trump, the global economy is struggling; I hear that the number of tourists visiting Hawaii has dropped significantly as a result.

I pass by a beach frequented by sea turtles and go by a shark-viewing spot. There is no dedicated parking lot for tourists here; instead, roadside parking is permitted. Even though numbers have declined, I can still sense the presence of many tourists. It is not as if there is no flat land here, though; in the northern region of Haleiwa, there are quite expansive fields. Our sixth stop was a rest area located in the pineapple farming region—a place still famous for its pineapple ice cream.

Much of the surrounding land is covered in grass. A large tree with a multi-colored trunk—a "Rainbow Tree"—stood tall in front of the shop. We bought some pineapple ice cream there and tasted it.

The seventh stop was a shopping district featuring brand-name stores. Priorities seemed reversed here, as we were allotted more time for this stop than for others. While there was no dedicated tourist parking lot, the shopping district's own lot was vast; it was largely empty and quiet. My wife and I spent over an hour idly passing the time on the street outside the shops.

It left a bitter taste in my mouth to see people rushing toward these famous brands—a pursuit of fleeting trends that runs counter to the spirit of valuing substance and integrity. People often hesitate to spend money on their own parents, yet they will scrape together every last penny to buy these branded goods. This is the reality of the "commercial age of the final era," driven by deceitful profit motives.

Back when my wife and I first met, she used to wear jeans; I told her not to, arguing that jeans were the attire of common laborers—the sort of people who would plop down anywhere to stage protests—and she claimed she had discarded them. How fleeting time is; so many days have passed since then. Although it contrasts sharply with my wife's current image, I let my daughter wear them without objection. Soon, the "Era of the Heavenly Market Enclosure" (Cheonsiwon) will end, and the "Era of Divine Union and the Way" (Sinhap Dojeong) will dawn.

We pass by the Pearl Harbor naval base. It is an ideal location for a military port: a narrow channel entrance leading into a broad, inland bay—much like the interior of a gourd-shaped bottle. We are traveling along a highway—a major thoroughfare running north-south.

It is a five- or six-lane highway; traffic in the opposite lanes was heavily congested, and now our lanes are backing up as well. We are on the outskirts of Honolulu.

It is around three in the afternoon, yet these are already the evening rush-hour commuters. It reflects the Western custom of finishing work early to rest. It is also a sign of an emerging culture that mirrors the ideal of the "Immortal" (*Seon-sin*)—a state of transcendent, liberated existence.

One of the must-visit spots on Oahu is Waikiki Beach, located by the sea near the bustling heart of Honolulu. Men and women walk about in public areas, scantily clad and entirely unselfconscious. Such is the state of a society that has lost its moral bearings; there is little to be done about it.

I spent my free time from 4:00 PM onwards walking along the beach. The weather was cooler than expected, making it a pleasant place to move about in light clothing. It is easy to understand why wealthy individuals and celebrities have established vacation homes here.

鬱陵島（ウルルンド）の環境とよく似ており、山を中心に海沿いに民家が立ち並び、一周道路が整備されているため、一日の日程は島を一周しながら主要なスポットを巡る形になります。

ハワイ最大の島である「ビッグアイランド」は、済州島（チェジュド）を彷彿とさせます。しかし、風水的に優れた「明堂（めいどう）」のような場所は見当たりません。道路も往復2車線と狭く、観光客の車が絶え間なく行き交っています。北側の海岸は、冬にあたる12月頃になると、サーフィンを楽しむ観光客で賑わうそうです。ただ、イタチザメ（タイガーシャーク）が時折現れ、事故が起きることもある場所でもあります。

海底洞窟があり、泳ぎの達人が中を通り抜けることで有名なスポットもあります。

中国の武侠映画スター、ジャッキー・チェンの別荘のそばを通る際、彼が大規模なレストラン事業を展開したものの、コロナ禍で失敗に終わったという話も耳にしました。先天の人間は強く見えるようでいて、実は非常に脆いものでもある。目に見えない細菌によって命を落としたり、国家や社会が崩壊したりすることもあり、天災地変に対してもなす術なく翻弄される。

コロナ禍では世界各国の経済が低迷したが、現在はトランプ氏の影響で世界景気が悪化し、ハワイを訪れる観光客も激減しているそうだ。

ウミガメが出没する海岸を通り過ぎる。サメの体験スポットも通り過ぎる。この場所には観光客用の駐車場がない。道路脇への駐車が許可されているのだ。観光客が減ったとはいえ、やはり多くの観光客で賑わっているのを感じる。この地域に平地がないわけではない。北部のハレイワには、かなり広い畑がある。前日に続き、パイナップル農園地帯へ。現在もパイナップルアイスクリームで有名な休憩所に6番目の立ち寄り地として向かった。

広大な土地は草地が広がっている。店の前には、幹が様々な色を呈する大きな木が育っていた。「レインボーツリー」だ。店でパイナップルアイスクリームを買い、味わってみた。

7番目は有名ブランドのショップ街だ。本末転倒なことに、他の場所よりも多くの滞在時間が割り当てられている。観光客用の駐車場はないが、商店街の駐車場は広い。空きスペースも多く、閑散としている。私と妻は1時間以上、手持ち無沙汰に売り場の外の通りで時間を潰した。

有名ブランドだといって駆け寄る姿を見ると、牧牛堂主（モグダンジュ）の精神とはかけ離れ、世間の流行を追うばかりの姿勢に苦い思いをさせられる。親のために金を使うことには渋るくせに、ブランド品を買うとなると、ない金をかき集めてまで使ってしまうのだから。虚飾に満ちた商魂、それが末代商業時代の現実だ。

妻と出会った若い頃、彼女がジーンズを履いていたので、「ジーンズは労働者や下賤な連中が履くもので、どこにでもどっかりと座り込んでデモをするような服だから履くな」と言ったところ、彼女はすぐにそのジーンズを捨てたと言っていたものだ。歳月は無常である。いつの間にか長い年月が流れた。現在の妻のイメージとは全く異なるが、娘が履くことについては、どうしようもないのでそのままにしている。まもなく天市垣（てんしえん）時代が終結し、神合道政時代が到来する。

真珠湾（パールハーバー）の軍港も通り過ぎる。軍港としては最適の地だ。狭い水路の入り口から内陸に向かって湾が広がっている。まるで瓢箪（ひょうたん）の中のような形だ。高速道路沿いにある。南北を貫く大通りだ。

高速道路は5（6）車線だが、反対車線がひどく渋滞していたかと思うと、我々の進む車線も同じようになった。ホノルルの都市周辺だ。

午後3時頃だが、退勤する車だという。早く仕事を終えて休もうとする、西洋人の風習なのだ。後天の神仙文化にあやかろうとする兆しでもある。

オアフ島で訪れるべき場所の一つに、最も賑やかなホノルル中心部から海沿いに広がるワイキキ・ビーチがある。市街地の公共エリアで、男女が肌を露わにしたまま、恥じらう様子もなく行き交っている。正気を失ったような世相ゆえ、致し方ないことだ。

午後4時からは自由時間となり、海辺を散策した。予想していたよりも気候が涼しく、軽装で過ごすのに適した場所だ。それゆえ、富裕層や著名人が別荘を構えて過ごす理由も理解できる。

Las condiciones son sorprendentemente similares a las de Ulleungdo: las casas se sitúan a lo largo de la costa con las montañas como telón de fondo, y una carretera perimetral permite a los visitantes recorrer la isla y detenerse en puntos clave.

La isla más grande de Hawái, conocida como *Big Island* (la Isla Grande), recuerda a la isla de Jeju. Sin embargo, carece de los lugares propicios (*myeongdang*) propios de la geomancia tradicional. Las carreteras son estrechas y constan de solo dos carriles. Los vehículos de turistas circulan incesantemente. Mi esposa y yo terminamos pasando más de una hora matando el tiempo en la calle, frente a las tiendas.

Me dejó un sabor amargo ver a la gente apresurarse hacia esas marcas famosas, persiguiendo tendencias pasajeras en lugar de valorar el espíritu de la artesanía o la sustancia. A menudo, la gente duda a la hora de gastar dinero en sus propios padres, pero es capaz de reunir hasta el último centavo para comprar artículos de marca. Esta es la realidad de la "era comercial del tiempo final", impulsada por motivos de lucro engañosos.

Cuando mi esposa y yo nos conocimos, ella solía usar vaqueros; yo le pedía que no lo hiciera, argumentando que eran la vestimenta de trabajadores de clase baja que se sentaban en cualquier parte para organizar protestas, y ella decía que se había deshecho de ellos.
