Encirclement of the Coastal Cliff Abyss
I crossed the mountain ridge and descended to the seaside. Below the cliff, the waves crashed violently, and massive shadows floated across a sky mélange of sea and clouds.
The stingray spread its wings and dove. Gusts whipped the rocks, and the long tentacles of deep-sea jellyfish stretched through the clouds. The sky octopus clung to the cliff with its long arms as it leapt across the air. At that moment, a cloud shark emerged from the mist and charged straight at them.
The electric wire flashed.
A deep-sea eel swirled around the cliff, releasing an electric current. The radio waves spread out behind, shaking the air. Tree roots sprouted from the crevices of the cliff, trying to grasp the bodies of the monsters.
But the sei whale charged with its massive body and crushed the roots. The skink octopus spread its eight arms and changed direction with the wind, while the black-sail squid extended its fin membrane like a sail to evade the ice attack.
Waves crashed over the shore.
Irons sliced through the waves and flew in. I twisted my body to dodge and then quickly thrust the spear. As the storm ray flapped its wings again, a gale swept in and thunder rumbled across the entire cliff.
The iron-clad tuna flashed its metallic scales and charged straight ahead. The moment the shield absorbed the impact, the flamethrower flew and pierced the guy's body. Bulps erupted one after another, causing the sea water to surge dramatically.
The jellyfish poured out the seawater from its body as if it were exploding. A torrent of rain obscured the view, and the toxic mist of the king pufferfish spread over it. As the direct sunlight cut through the mist, the glassy squid’s translucent body was revealed. The spear tip thrust forward swiftly and severed the tentacles.
A coral sponge ascended the cliff. Dozens of tentacles wrapped around rocks and tree roots, and long tentacles stretched beneath the body of the blue whale beetle. When the black mussel monster opened its shell and spat out a black liquid, it dodged through the incoming waves.
The deep-sea lobster grabbed a rock in midair with its claws and lifted its body. The echidnas swam around the cliff with their tails to change direction, while the sea leeches crawled along the rock surface, trying to cling.
The giant conch shell monster emitted sound waves from inside its shell. The cliff shook and the rocks collapsed with ear-splitting vibrations. Above it, the cloud shark reappeared and pounced.
Pushing back the attacks with spears and shields, we advanced along the narrow path along the coast. Electric wires cut through the air, and radio waves spread across the waves. Tree roots sprouted from all corners of the cliff to hold onto the monsters, but the fierce waves swept away them.
At last, the abyssal debris rose in the form of a massive mass of seawater. Inside, its eyes and tentacles writhed, stretching out as if to block the sea and sky.
The thunder roared again.
Waves crashed against the cliffs, and an ice assault sliced through the surface. Direct beams of light and electric wires stretched toward the abyss’s floating debris. As its massive body shook and poured out seawater, the entire coastline was submerged in spray.
A road cutting across the sea appeared beyond. But the clouds remained thick, and from beyond the horizon, another enormous shadows were slowly approaching
The abyssal debris rising above the coast suddenly changed its shape. The seawater formed a massive whirlpool and covered the sky, and within it, a boss reaching 3,000 meters in height emerged.
Black currents wrapped around its body, and countless eyes flashed through the clouds. Long, trailing tentacles wrapped around the mountain ridges and coastal cliffs. With every movement of a single tentacle, the entire sea surged, and massive waves crashed toward the shore.
It soared into the air, dodging crashing waves and chunks of ice. Soon, an electric current surged from the boss's body and crossed the sky. Ean raised his shield and unleashed a telekinesis, piercing the tip of the tentacles with a beam of light emitted from his hand.
However, the severed tentacles dispersed into seawater and then clumped together again. As the boss twisted his body, black clouds poured over the coast, and sky squids and cloud sharks were swept up and thrown into the whirlpool.
It broke through the gap and plunged over the boss's head. Giant eyes turned toward him all at once. The next moment, the 3,000-meter body tilted enough to obscure the sky, lifting the entire sea.
I aimed my spear at the surging sea wall. Blazing light burst from the tip of the spear, splitting through a massive column of water. In that moment, the boss's tentacles swarmed Ean from all directions
It broke through the rushing tentacles and plunged above the boss's head. Tentacles swirled around and attacked, but he swung his spear to clear the way. The beams of light emanating from his hand pierced through the enormous eyes one after another.
The boss twisted his body and lifted the sea into the sky. As the Black Tide was about to engulf Ean, he concentrated all his heat at the tip of his spear and thrust it straight through.
Light and heat exploded, piercing the center of the massive water vein. The seawater that made up its body turned to steam and surged forth, while its tentacles lost their strength and disintegrated in midair. Cracks spread through the boss's massive form, and its 3,000-meter body shattered to pieces.
I broke through the pouring water columns and descended to the shore. The last remaining snowflake flashed underwater, but when the spear was thrown, even that was pierced through.
The giant leader had completely dispersed. The sea sank back into place, and the black clouds that had covered the sky slowly lifted
