발표하자 마자 '빌 보드 R&B 차트'를 석권하고 팝 차트에서는

4위를 기록합니다.

1986년 '롭 라이너 감독'의 동명(同名) 영화의 O.S.T로

수록 되어 많은 사랑을 받았고, 1987년에는 '리바이스' 청바지

광고 음악으로 쓰여 영국에서 뒤늦게 1위를 기록하기도

했습니다.

국내를 비롯한 전 세계적으로 수없이 '리메이크' 되었고,

'Rolling Stone 음악 잡지'에서 선정한 역사상 가장

위대한 명곡 리스트에 올랐습니다.
