Twisted Meadow

[네임]

Gais continued through the twisted meadow. The land, which should have been flat, was rising in places, and the grass blades and tree trunks writhed as if alive.

From afar, the Thorn Giant rose. The moment the thorny vines of the entire body spread in all directions, mossy clumps and black saplings swarmed from both sides. The giant whip of the vine executor sliced through the air, and the spears of the reed spearmen all turned toward Gais.

Gais used his shield to repel the vines. Lowering his body, he slipped between the reed spears and swung his shadow blade. A black trail sliced through the thorn bush giant's body. Then the beam of light pierced through the thick body of the mossy armor shell.

The spore-dispersing cells simultaneously released spores. As the entire meadow was submerged in a yellowish toxic fog, Gais reached out his hand.

A massive tornado surged.

Grass and soil, spores and vines were sucked into the whirlwind all at once. It was dragged up along with the body of the spore mist monster. Gais sent the thunder discs flying through the whirlwinds. Circular blades wrapped in lightning spun, cutting through the mist monsters and the root clusters one after another.

The ground cracked.

The root binders tried to wrap around Gais's body as they surged up from underground. He leapt and threw a vision chakra. The spinning chakra cut through the roots and plunged deep into the labyrinth of roots.

Seed launchers fired countless seeds into the sky. Gaisga fired beams of light in succession, shattering the flying seeds from the air. A ivy pitcher rushed in between the explosions and wrapped itself around the vines.

Gais pushed back the vines with a shield strike and threw an acid bite. As the acid attack melted the vine’s joints, the body of the vampiric host twisted violently. Seizing the moment, a holideisk flew in and sliced across the body.

The giant mushroom lord unleashed a torrent of enormous spores. The Poisonous Vine King and the Poison Flower Priest bloomed simultaneously, spreading hallucinogenic pollen and toxic energy. Gais stirred up a tornado to sweep away the pollen and spun the thunder discs to cut off the poisonous flowers one by one.

A giant tree triller struck the massive trunk.

Gais ran aside to avoid it.

The downed stalks shattered the ground, shaking the entire meadow. Taking advantage of the moment, Gais launched a deep Vision Chakra. As the chakra sliced through the trunk of a giant tree, the massive tree staggered and fell.

But from behind, rust shield fragments and stem shavers surged forward at the same time. Leaf-scarers hurled blade-like leaves in all directions, and leaves curved like the sickle of a grass-cutting reed tree surrounded Gaisuga.

Gais swung his shield, shattering the leaves. The shadow slashing spread out widely. The Black Strike cut through the Leaffang Hunter and the Phantom Neck simultaneously, and the Holy Disc followed, severing the remaining body.

The black lotus monster stained the ground black as it spewed venom. The giant hydra spread its body and covered the entire path. The petals of the carnivorous flower crown revealed hundreds of teeth as they opened.

Gaisga shot a beam of light straight ahead.

A massive beam of light pierced through the incinerated flower crown.

At the same time, the thunder discs sliced through Yang Chi-soo's body, and the vision chakra cut through the black lotus shell.

Finally, the Thorny Crown Monster appeared.

Behind it, the forest heart was beating wildly. The red sap of the vascular system spread underground, and the mycoheterotrophic plants swallowed the surrounding vegetation, causing it to grow enormous.

And the entire meadow moved.

The king of the primeval‎ forest appeared.

As the giant being, accompanied by countless plant monsters, rose, dozens of vines and roots simultaneously stretched toward Gais.

Gaisga charged forward as he was.

A tornado swirled around the monarch's body. The Shadow Slash snapped the vines, and the Thunder Disks pierced the body in succession. Holy discs flew in from all directions, cutting away the massive plant's body.

Finally, Gaisuga threw a Vision Chakra.

A rotating chakra sliced deep through the center of the primordial forest lord.

The forest heart shook violently.

The red sap stopped.

As the massive pulse broke, the body of the primeval‎ forest lord collapsed. The plant monsters that had been moving with them lost their strength and collapsed across the meadow.

There was no more movement on the twisted meadow.

Gaisga continued walking forward, passing through the fallen primeval‎ forest. At the edge of the meadow, another twisted space was slowly opening up.
