" Being a Christian, our everyday duty. "

We as a human being, we have some duties to do. Being a father, we suppose to provide all the supplies of the family, being a mother take care inside the house, being a teacher teach students, being students, study and obey parents and teachers. In short we’ve some duties to perform everyday. But Friends, being a Christian or worshiper. There are few things what we’ve to do or perform everyday. Friends our creator, our God the Father is always with us, around us and want us to be happy.

Matthew 6 : 34

So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of

its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.

Ecclesiastes 11 : 9

Young people, enjoy your youth. Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do,

& follow your heart's desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do.

Brothers & sisters today being a believer, let’s examine our duties and do our duties in the Lord.

1. Grow up in the Lord, everyday.

Friends, all the parents want that their children grow up healthy. We parents provide good nutritious food to our children 3 times a day, sometime 4 times a day. Brothers & sisters, our God the Father also want that all the followers or believers grow up in the Him everyday, every hour, every moment.

Joshua 1 : 8

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you

may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Deuteronomy 29 : 29

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong

to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

James 1 : 22 ~~~ Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Friends, everyday we’ve to grow up in the Lord by reading, listening & live according to word of God.

Revelation 1 : 3

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are

those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

2. See the beautiful things around you everyday.

Majority of people including believers complain about job, about spouses, siblings, financial problems, Physical problems. Visa problems etc. etc., instead of complaining, let’s focus beautiful things what are around us. Remember the Israelite who complained & punished by God but those who gave thanks blessed.

Numbers 11 : 1

Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when

He heard them His anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among

them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.

Brothers and sisters, we have to see the beautiful things in around us & give thanks.

Brothers & sisters, when good things happen don’t say, it’s my good luck or it happen by chance. It’s God’s blessings. Just give thanks. Good things happen or bad. Just give thanks not complains.

2nd. Thess ~~ 5 : 18 Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Whatever circumstances just give thanks. Friends, remember thanks is a secret of miracles.

More thanks, more miracles. No thanks, no miracles. Thanks is vessel to have miracles. Make this vessel big as much as you can. Start your day with thanks, live with thanks and finish our day with thanks.

3. Be kind to everyone, everyday.

It is very easy to be kind to our beloved ones but it is very hard to be kind to those who harm us and us make difficulties & hurdles in our ways. But being a Christian it is our duty to be kind to all.

Jesus Christ taught us that we’ve to be kind to all. Kind even to our enemies & un-familiars persons.

Luke 23 : 34 ~~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Ephesians 4 : 32

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,

as God in Christ forgave you" and "Love your neighbor as yourself"

Romans 12 : 19 ~ 20

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. - On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

4. Be strong everyday.

Friends, Devil is moving here and there in this world to harm and destroy the faith of believers. But we believers (Christians) have to be strong in the Lord Jesus. Devil want to destroy and snatch our blessings every second of our lives. With our own strength we can’t defeat Devil. But in, Jesus we can.

1 Peter 5 : 8

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls

around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1st John 4 : 4

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because

the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

We are weak but Devil is so strong and schematic personality. The question is how, we can defeat or overcome Devil. There is only one way & that’s Jesus. -- Jesus answered, “I am the way (John 14 : 6)

Joshua 1 : 7 & 9

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,

for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

We’ve to be strong in the Lord. We are not alone. Read the Word of God. Meditate it everyday.

5. Be positive everyday.

Last & final, I believe we’ve to be positive in all circumstances. There are many who always complain. Those people always use negative language. It’s impossible, difficult, I can’t. Always use positive language.

Job & David, they focus the positive side of their sufferings. Always claim – I can do it, it can be done, let’s do it.

Job 23 : 10 ~~ But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

Psalms 119 : 71 ~~ It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.

1st. Thessalonians 5 : 16 ~ 18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Conclusion :-

Last Sunday we learned responsibilities being a family member. Today we learned our responsibilities being a Christian. Christian mean Christ I am nothing, everything is Christ.

Philippians 4 : 13 ~~~ I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.

Let's remain in Christ and perform our responsibilities. ♠ Grow up in Lord everyday – ♠ See the beautiful things everyday – ♠ Be kind to all everyday – Be strong every day – ♠ Be positive everyday.

크리스천으로서 우리의 일상 의무

인간으로서 우리는 해야 할 의무가 있습니다. 아버지로서 가족의 모든 필요를 공급해야 하고, 어머니로서 가정 안에서 돌보고, 선생으로서 학생을 가르치고, 학생으로서 공부하고 부모님과 선생님에게 순종해야 합니다. 요컨대 우리는 날마다 행해야 할 의무가 있습니다. 이외에 크리스천 즉 예배자로서 우리가 날마다 행해야 할 것이 몇 가지 있습니다.

우리 창조주, 우리 하나님 아버지는 언제나 우리와 함께, 우리 주위에 계시며 우리가 행복하기 원하십니다.

마태복음 6 : 34

그러므로 내일 일을 위하여 염려하지 말라 내일 일은 내일이

염려할 것이요 한 날의 괴로움은 그 날로 족하니라.

전도서 11 : 9

청년이여 네 어린 때를 즐거워하며 네 청년의 날들을 마음에 기뻐하여 마음에 원하는 길들과

네 눈이 보는 대로 행하라 그러나 하나님이 이 모든 일로 말미암아 너를 심판하실 줄 알라.

형제자매 여러분, 오늘 신자로서 우리의 의무를 점검하고 주 안에서 우리의 의무를 행합시다.

1. 날마다 주 안에서 성장하십시오.

모든 부모들은 자녀가 건강하게 성장하기 원합니다. 우리 부모들은 자녀에게 하루에 세 번, 때로는 하루에 네 번씩 맛있고 영양가있는 음식을 줍니다. 형제자매 여러분, 우리 하나님 아버지도 모든 제자들 즉 신자들이 그분 안에서 날마다, 매 시간마다, 매 순간마다 성장하기를 원하십니다.

여호수아 1 : 8

이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된

대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라.

신명기 29 : 29

감추어진 일은 우리 하나님 여호와께 속하였거니와 나타난 일은 영원히 우리와 우리

자손에게 속하였나니 이는 우리에게 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 행하게 하심이니라.

야고보서 1 : 22

너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라.

우리는 하나님 말씀을 읽고, 듣고, 그에 따라 살아감으로써 날마다 주님 안에서 성장해야 합니다.

요한계시록 1 : 3

이 예언의 말씀을 읽는 자와 듣는 자와 그 가운데에 기록한 것을 지키는 자는 복이 있나니 때가 가까움이라.

2. 날마다 우리 주변에 아름다운 것들을 보십시오.

신자들을 포함해서 대부분의 사람들은 직업, 배우자, 형제자매, 재정적인 문제, 신체적 문제, 비자 문제 등등에 대해 불평합니다. 불평하지 말고 우리 주변에 있는 아름다운 것들에 집중합시다. 불평했던 이스라엘 백성들은 하나님께 벌을 받았고 감사했던 사람들은 축복받았음을 기억하십시오.

민수기 11 : 1

여호와께서 들으시기에 백성이 악한 말로 원망하매 여호와께서 들으시고

진노하사 여호와의 불을 그들 중에 붙여서 진영 끝을 사르게 하시매.

형제자매 여러분, 우리 주변에 있는 아름다운 것들을 보고 감사해야 합니다. 형제자매 여러분, 좋은 일이 일어날 때 다행이라거나 우연이라고 말하지 마십시오. 그것은 하나님의 축복입니다. 오직 감사하십시오.

좋은 일이든 나쁜 일이든 불평하지 말고 오직 감사하십시오.

데살로니가전서 5 : 18

범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라.

어떤 상황에서든지 감사하십시오. 감사는 기적의 비밀임을 기억하십시오. 감사할수록 더욱 기적이 일어나고 감사하지 않으면 기적도 없습니다. 감사는 기적이 일어나는 통로입니다. 이 통로를 가능한 크게 만드십시오. 하루를 감사로 시작하고 감사로 살며 감사로 마치십시오.

3. 날마다 모든 사람에게 친절하십시오.

사랑하는 사람에게 친절하기는 매우 쉽지만 우리에게 상처주고 우리 길에 어려움과 장애물을 만드는 사람에게 친절하기는 매우 어렵습니다. 하지만 크리스천으로서 모든 사람에게 친절하게 하는 것은 우리의 의무입니다. 예수 그리스도께서 모든 사람에게 친절해야 한다고 가르치셨습니다.

심지어 우리의 원수와 친하지 않은 사람에게도 친절하십시오.

누가복음 23 : 34

이에 예수께서 이르시되 아버지 저들을 사하여 주옵소서 자기들이 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라.

에베소서 4 : 32

서로 친절하게 하며 불쌍히 여기며 서로 용서하기를 하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하심과 같이 하라.

로마서 12 : 19 ~ 20 --- 내 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 친히 원수를 갚지 말고 하나님의 진노하심에 맡기라 기록하였으되 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라고 주께서 말씀하시니라 원수가 주리거든 먹이고 목마르거든 마시게 하라 그리함으로 네가 숯불을 그 머리에 쌓아 놓으리라.

4. 날마다 담대하십시오.

마귀는 이 세상에서 신자의 믿음을 해치고 무너뜨리려고 여기저기 다닙니다. 하지만 우리 신자(크리스천)들은 주 예수 안에서 담대해야 합니다. 마귀는 우리 삶의 매 순간마다 우리를 무너뜨리고 축복을 가로채려 합니다. 우리 힘으로는 마귀를 이길 수 없습니다. 하지만 예수 안에서 할 수 있습니다.

베드로전서 5 : 8

근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니.

요한1서 4 : 4

자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니

이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라.

우리는 연약하지만 마귀는 매우 강하고 조직적인 존재입니다. 문제는 우리가 어떻게 마귀를 이길 수 있느냐는 것입니다. 유일한 방법은 바로 예수입니다. 요한복음 14 : 6 ~ 예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요

여호수아 1 : 7, 9

오직 강하고 극히 담대하여 나의 종 모세가 네게 명령한 그 율법을 다 지켜 행하고 우로나 좌로나 치우치지 말라 그리하면 어디로 가든지 형통하리니 -- 내가 네게 명령한 것이 아니냐 강하고 담대하라 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말라 네가 어디로 가든지 네 하나님 여호와가 너와 함께 하느니라 하시니라.

우리는 주 안에서 담대해야 합니다. 우리는 혼자가 아닙니다. 하나님 말씀을 읽으십시오. 날마다 묵상하십시오.

5. 날마다 긍정적으로 생각하십시오.

마지막으로, 우리는 모든 상황에서 긍정적이 되어야 한다고 믿습니다. 항상 불평하는 사람이 많습니다. 그런 사람들은 항상 부정적인 언어를 씁니다. 불가능하다, 어렵다, 할 수 없다 언제나 긍정적인 언어를 사용하십시오. 욥과 다윗은 고난의 긍정적인 면에 집중했습니다. 항상 선포하십시오. 할 수 있다, 하면 된다, 해 보자

욥기 23 : 10

그러나 내가 가는 길을 그가 아시나니 그가 나를 단련하신 후에는 내가 순금 같이 되어 나오리라.

시편 119 : 71 ~~ 고난당한 것이 내게 유익이라 이로 말미암아 내가 주의 율례들을 배우게 되었나이다.

데살로니가전서 5 : 16 ~ 18 ---- 항상 기뻐하라 쉬지 말고 기도하라 범사에 감사하라 이것이

그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라.

결론 :-

지난 주일에 가족 구성원으로서의 책임에 대해 배웠습니다. 오늘 크리스천으로서의 책임을 배웠습니다. 크리스천은 ‘주님, 나는 아무 것도 아닙니다. 주님이 모든 것입니다’라는 의미입니다.

빌립보서 4 : 13 ~~~ 내게 능력 주시는 자 안에서 내가 모든 것을 할 수 있느니라.

그리스도 안에 거하고 우리 책임을 행합시다. 날마다 주 안에서 성장하십시오. -날마다 아름다운 것을 보십시오. -날마다 모두에게 친절하십시오. -날마다 담대하십시오. -날마다 긍정적으로 생각하십시오.
