역사를 두고 수많은 종교인들이 문선생을 반대했는데, 그것은 무엇 때문이냐? 오늘날 악한 세계의 모든 제도와 모든 주권과 모든 문화배경을 전부 다 부정해 버리고 다시 찾아야 하기 때문이예요. 부정한 다음 부정된 그 자리에서 하나되어 긍정을 찾아가야 하는 거예요. 한꺼번에 전부 부정당한다면 저 끝에서부터 개인들이 긍정해 들어오는 것입니다. 이것은 맞고 빼앗아 나가는 하나님의 전략입니다. 그렇기 때문에 종교는 핍박이 있을 때 발전합니다. 역사적으로 모든 사람들이 왜 이런 정의를 내리느냐 하면, 이것이 원칙이기 때문입니다. 

통일교회는 반대받을 때 발전했습니다. 이제 반대를 안 하면 어떻게 돼요? 여기서 정신차려야 됩니다. 세계가 통일교회를 환영할 때는 어떻게 되느냐? 큰일납니다. 그때가 통일교회에 제일 무서운 시기예요. 내가 그것을 알아요. 로마가 천하를 호령할 때가 제일 위기였습니다. 로마의 법은 세계를 위한 것이기 때문에, 세계를 움직일 그때에 로마의 모든 재력이나 국력을 세계에 나눠 주는 놀음을 해야 했습니다. 그랬다면 로마는 이 세계를 정복했을 것입니다. (136- 188)

歴史をおいて数多くの宗教人たちが文先生に反対しましたが、それは何のためでしょうか？　今日、悪なる世界のすべての制度とすべての主権とすべての文化背景を全部否定してしまい、再び見いださなければならないからです。否定した後、否定されたその位置で一つとなって、肯定を捜していかなければならないのです。一度に全部否定されるなら、かの果てから個人たちが肯定して入ってくるのです。これは打たれて奪っていく神様の戦略です。それゆえ、宗教は迫害があるとき発展します。歴史的にすべての人々がなぜこのような定義を下すのかと言えば、これが原則だからです。

統一教会は反対されるとき発展しました。今、反対をしなければどうなりますか？　ここでしっかりしなければなりません。世界が統一教会を歓迎する時はどうなるでしょうか？　大変なことになります。その時が統一教会の一番恐ろしい時期です。私はそれを知っています。ローマが天下に号令する時が一番危機でした。ローマの法は世界のためのものなので、世界を動かすその時に、ローマのすべての財力や国力を世界に分けてあげる役事をしなければなりませんでした。そうしたなら、ローマはこの世界を征服したことでしょう。（一九八五・一二・二二、本部教会）

2) Opposition And Persecution

① Consequences of Opposition - 6

In history, numerous religious people have opposed Rev. Moon, but what for? This is because all of the institutions and sovereignties and cultural backgrounds of the evil world today must be denied once, and then rediscovered again. After being denied, they must become one in that position of denial and seek for affirmation. If we are all denied at once, individuals will come from the corners of the world to affirm and join us. This is God's strategy of being struck first and then taking. That is why a religion will develop when there is opposition. The reason why all people will give this kind of a definition throughout history is because this is the fundamental rule. 

The Unification Church grew when it was opposed. Today, what will happen if there is no opposition? We must take a firm stand here. What happens when the world welcomes the Unification Church? It will be disastrous. That would be the most frightful time for the Unification Church. I know this. It was the most critical time for Rome when it ruled the world and gave out orders. The law of Rome was for the world, and thus when it tried to move the world, it should have divided all of its wealth and power among the world. Had it done so, Rome would have conquered this world.
