통일교회가 반대받으면서 그렇게 발전했는데, 환영받으면 얼마나 발전했겠어요? 40년 동안 세계가 레버런 문 사상을 중심 삼고 환영했다면 어떻게 됐겠어요?

내가 나를 반대하는 세계를 내 손으로 잡아쥘 수 있게끔 다 틀어 놨는데, 대한민국이 환영하고 기독교와 미국이 통일되어 나를 갖다 고문으로 세웠으면 대한민국과 미국이 어떻게 됐을까요? 공산당은 내손에 다 없어졌을 것입니다.

그것을 잃어버렸으니 여기서 못 이룬 것을 수습해야 됩니다. 마찬가지예요. 서구사회에 들어가 가지고 수습해 가지고 돌아 들어오는 데는 전부 그것을 탕감해야 됩니다.

그래서 기독교문화사를 중심 삼고 통일권을 40년 전에 잃어버렸으니 4년간을 두고 다시 되돌아와 가지고, 수난길을 중심 삼고 미국에 가서 수습해 가지고 영국이 책임 못 했으니 일본 민족을 세워서 교육했습니다. '너희 민족이 살 수 있는 길은 아시아를 제패하던 독재국가로서가 아니야. 그러니 너희 민족과 너희를 희생시켜서 세계를 위해 살 수 있는 민족이 되라.'고 교육한 거예요. (139- 116)

統一教会は反対されながらそのように発展しましたが、歓迎されるならどれほど発展したでしょうか？　四十年の間、世界がレバレンド・ムーンの思想を中心として歓迎したなら、どうなったでしょうか？　

私が、私を反対する世界を私の手でつかむことができるようすべて押し込んだのですが、大韓民国が歓迎し、キリスト教とアメリカが統一され、私をして顧問に立てたなら、大韓民国とアメリカがどうなっていたでしょうか？　共産党は私の手で皆なくなったことでしょう。

それを失ってしまったので、ここで成せなかったのを収拾しなければなりません。同じです。西欧社会に入っていって収拾し、戻ってくる場合には全部それを蕩減しなければなりません。

だから、キリスト教文化史を中心として統一圏を四十年前に失ってしまったので、四年間をおいて再び戻ってきて、受難の道を中心としてアメリカに行って収拾し、イギリスが責任を果たせなかったので日本民族を立てて教育しました。

「お前たち民族が生きうる道は、アジアを制覇した独裁国家としてではない。だからお前たち民族とお前たちを犠牲にして世界のために生きうる民族となれ」と教育したのです。（一九八六・一・二八、シェラトン・ウォカーヒル・ホテル）

① Consequences of Opposition - 7

The Unification Church developed in this way by being opposed, but had it been welcomed, how much would it have developed? For forty years, if the world had welcomed Rev. Moon's philosophy, what would have happened?

I was able to grasp the world that opposed me and turn it around, but had the Republic of Korea welcomed me, had Christianity and America been unified and appointed me as advisor, what would have happened to the Republic of Korea and America? The Communist Party would have gone under me.

Because this was lost, we must deal with what could not be accomplished. It is the same. In order to enter Western society and deal with it and return, all of this must be indemnified. 

Centering on the cultural history of Christianity, the unified sphere was lost forty years ago ; this is why I returned after a period of four years, went to America through a path of ordeals to redeem the situation, brought the Japanese people and educated them as England could not fulfill her responsibility.
