② 핍박의 가치 - 2

그래서 오늘날 보게 되면 사회도 그렇지만 종교도 마찬가지입니다. 종교도 앙상한 뼈다귀만 남아 있는 것입니다. 내 생명을 찬양하는 노래가 어디 있으며, 생명을 구가하는 시가 어디에 개재해 있겠느냐?

그 위력을 자랑할 수 있는 때가 찾아오지만 그런 때에 자기 위력을 자랑하겠다고 나섰다가는 희생하기 일쑤입니다. 그런 시대입니다. 시대의 환경이 그러므로 기성 종단도 마찬가지요, 기성 종교도 마찬가지요, 기성 기독교도 마찬가지입니다. 어떠한 종단도 그런 운명에 부딪치는 것입니다. 거기에 나타나려고 하면 부딪치는 것입니다. 

이런 일을 생각하게 될 때, 통일교회도 역시 그러한 역사적인 운세권 내에서 태어났기 때문에 여기에 머리를 높이 들고 나타나면 안 되는 것입니다.

하나님이 사랑하시기 때문에 나타나지 못하게 핍박을 준 것이 아니냐. 이렇게 생각하면 고맙다는 거예요. 나타나지 말라는 것입니다. 다 죽는 겁니다. 하나님이 섭리하셨던 모든 내력과 모든 인연을 통한 진액이 있으면 그 진액을 전부 다 일시에 집결시켜야 됩니다. (49-327) 

통일교회에서 핍박이 사라지지 마소서 해야 합니다. 핍박의 길을 피해 가는 종교는 패퇴하는 것이요, 핍박을 받고도 그것을 소화할 수 있는 역량을 가지고, 자기의 기대를 목표로 하는 것이 아니라 고차적인 나라와 세계가 기대한 것을 목표로 정하게 될 때 하늘이 같이하는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 통일교회는 핍박을 받았지만 망하지 않고 발전해 나가는 것입니다. 여러분은 이것을 알아야 됩니다. (59- 202)

② 迫害の価値 - 2

それで、今日見てみれば、社会もそうですが宗教も同じです。宗教もやせた骨だけ残っているのです。私の生命を讃揚する歌がどこにあり、生命を謳歌する詩がどこに介在しているでしょうか？　

その威力を誇ることのできる時が訪れますが、そのような時に自分の威力を誇ろうと出しゃばれば犠牲になるのがお決まりです。そのような時代です。時代の環境がそれゆえ既成宗団も同様であり、既成宗教も同様であり、既成キリスト教も同様です。どのような宗団もそのような運命にぶつかるのです。そこに現れようとすればぶつかるのです。

このようなことを考えるとき、統一教会もやはりそのような歴史的な運勢圏内で生まれたので、ここに頭を高く上げて現れてはいけないのです。神様が愛されるので現れられないように迫害を与えたのではないか。このように考えればありがたいというのです。

現れるなというのです。皆死ぬのです。神様が摂理なさったすべての内力とすべての因縁を通した津液（＝体内から染み出る液）があるなら、その津液を全部一時に集結させなければなりません。（一九七一・一〇・二四、前本部教会）

統一教会から迫害が去りませんようにと言わなければなりません。迫害の道を避けていく宗教は敗退するのであり、迫害を受けてもそれを消化することのできる力量を持ち、自分の期待を目標とするのではなく、高次的な国と世界が期待することを目標と定めるとき、天がともにあるのです。それゆえ、統一教会は迫害を受けましたが、滅びずに発展していくのです。皆さんはこれを知らなければなりません。（一九七二・七・一六、鍾路教会）

② The Value of Persecution - 2

When we observe today, it is so with society as well as with religion. Just the thin bones of religion remain. Where is the song that can praise my life, and where are the words that extol life? There will come a time when we can be proud of those powers, but if you assert your power too excessively at such a time, it is inevitable that you will be sacrificed.

It is that kind of an age. Because of the environment of the times, it is the same with established churches and established religions and established Christianity. All religious groups run into that kind of a fate. If they try to emerge, they will be confronted. 

When we think of this, the Unification Church was also born in such a sphere of historical fate, so we must not hold our heads high and emerge at this point. As God loves us He gave us persecution so that we could not emerge.

If you think of it in this way, you will be grateful. Do not appear. All will die. If there is a secretion that seeps out from the body that represents all of the internal power and all connections that God has dispensed, that must all be concentrated at one point. We must say, may persecution not leave the Unification Church. A religion that evades the way of persecution will be defeated, and if it can have the strength to digest persecution, and set as its goals what the country and the world expects on a higher level, rather than its own expectations, Heaven will be with it. That is why the Unification Church, although persecuted, develops without collapsing. You must all know this. (1972 July 16, Chongno Church)
